I don't bother with low head speed on low voltage. Only 12S for me. No bogging and plenty of power to get out of trouble. I don't get this low voltage fad.

Archie, I did the same thing you did. I downloaded the latest firmware ver 2.10.5 but not the bootloader to match and I cannot find it anywhere. Can you point me into the right direction to get it? Also, where is it located on the SD Card to put it in the right location. Thanks, Joe

1000rpm!!! Wow!! So smooth. looking at one of these and am amazed they fly so well at such a low head speed. Think I'll get one for 6s... great size the 700's.

Archie, I have Edge 2.7.1. Will I need to update to the latest version to use Rotorflight, ExpressRSL and Nexus?

Impressive that the dnamic is that stable at that headspeed. I don't think my piuma would resist headshake at anything less than 1400 or so. I fly it at 1650 mostly and I can get 9-10 minute flights at that RPM depending on how much I push it. I do have a Dnamic on the way, excited to get it built. :) The Dnamic seems to have a lot of advantages like the teeter totter head and being more than a lb lighter for the bare airframe so interested to see how it works. I'll have kind of heavy battery set up, 12s 4000, but should still fly great I would think.

Great video Archie!! This may be an obvious question but.....I just got my Dnamic kit during the Black Friday sale weekend and want to fly it 8S. Can you tell me how you got an 8S battery setup? I assume two 4S packs in series? Thanks in advance for your reply!!

someone talked me into 600 class hobbyking, t rex copy because theyre supposed to be easier to fly than 100 to 200 class . what a mistake , never have been able to fly it for more than 60 seconds.. crashes are expensive.

Nice flying, looks like tron makes a great heli. Right now ive been mostly flying align and xl power (crash cost is way cheaper lol). But one day ill build up the courage to get a tron

Thank you and thank you for building such awesome helicopters. I have another 3 I’m going to be getting ready to fly soon. Another Advance, the Nitron 50 and Nitron 90.

That is exactly how I want to fly, nice gentle banking! I can now takeoff, hover around and land my S1, S2 and RS4 Venom without a gyro assist, im headed to the field today to get more stick time. My next bird is going to be a Nimbus 550 V2, after that its a toss-up between Gemini or Dnamic.
@ArchieHarris-RC3 ай бұрын
All of those would be great choices. We have so many great helicopters available to us now. When I want to fly nice and gentle the Dnamic is my Heli of choice.

@@ArchieHarris-RC I was dead set on a Tron as my upgrade from the RS4...originally planned on a Dnamic, after being coached to consider a 550 instead due to large presence and crash costs of a 700....I was opting for a Gemini to solidify my foundation before I move to 700 class. That is till I saw the parts cost of a Tron....ooffff. Yeah, XL power made a far more compelling argument at this early in my RC Helicopter career. Cheaper and easier to maintain than a Tron. Ill stop at the Nimbus for a while and make sure I have all my fundamentals solidified before finally stepping into 700. I had an absolutely awesome fly day today, alone at the field non-stop flights. Now I have a Backbox recorded with some pretty aggressive maneuvering. Going to sit down for the next couple days and learn about how to interpret and filter so I can start tuning my RS4.

Another great low head speed video Archie. You're getting down into Jonas Wackershauser territory. Good to see your wife hasn't lost her interest in flying. Enjoyed talking to you both at Heli X.

Thank you for sharing. I am just so amazed how these open source options keep closing the gap between them and the more established brands.
