I run that missile on several AC's the reason it isn't here is strictly due to fire rate. The javs tricky but it didn't match the raw output. I'll look into if that's still true though. Lots of things have changed since this AC was assembled.

I appreciate that. SWAT has been in the garage for a while but never gets brought out. There's about to be more lights in the running. Lachesis and the Hg/Ag project have been teaching me more and more when I get to fight people like Rei and KD. I need more vs tank practice though.

Catching up on this one, I feel like I gotta explain myself, heh. This is a design I found elsewhere on the Internet and liked the look of, so I hoodwinked it to experiment. Really enjoyed how it played against the A.I. for basic testing, so it got a paint job and a name and I decided to run it against Maker. During which testing I got riki-tiki _rekt_ in every fight except these here, and frankly I do not remember beating Pillar 53. Got my shit pushed in like Maker had an industrial plunger and a deadline. Got shot down with the same casual disregard for threat as a Houthi missile in the Red Sea. Hueh. I don't know if 'Silence' here will make a return to the channel after the rest of those fights get aired, but if it does it will need to be a whole new machine because _man_ this one was a mistake.

The ACS system needs some form of rework IMO I feel like it punishes lights far worse than it does heavies and due to the previous balance changes I'm pretty sure that wasn't their intent. That and the lag. the connection I'd argue needs a pass first, it is *bad*.

@@ravenseyeimage Although still very powerful, it got nerfed in a few ways; slight Lammergeier speed nerf, lower damage/impact values. It's still a bit corny with a range of roughly 120m (too long imo, that's better than ideal duckette range) but at least it no longer almost one-shots everything under 65k weight. It's a cool weapon but it still has some questionable perimeters.

Plus more or less nailed this. I'll add that what it really needs is either its damage, or direct damage severely nerfed and its charged shield and charged release function buffed significantly. It has the potential to be a very cool weapon, but it only really ever exists as a melee double bonker. You NEVER see anyone use its shield or toss function for good reasons.

@@ravenseyeimage One of my not-this-shitbox ACs uses the HMMR, actually. It's a tricksy weapon, there's stuff you can get away with using the HMMR that you can't really do with any other weapon. Maker's right though, the charged attack is dog ass and the uncharged basic hits are really more of a problem than they have any right to be. The weapon isn't game-warpingly dominant anymore, but it's still an Issue on certain builds. if you want to see some with it, let Maker know and I'll run Thug out sometime so he can content-monkey some HMMR fights.

@ Pretty simple midweight hal & spring chicken build, either double zimms or zimm and redshift blade. I'll not even touch the earshots until they think I've forgotten about them and then, booom. I love carefully timing earshots, it also helps since most of the matches I've been in have given me bad ping/latency.

Yeah, and the balance issues caused by it are worse. In reality though I think it can work. We just need a better way of limiting some things to make them stronger so more piloting types are viable.

Excellent fight. I'm still heavily disappointed in this game based on the gimmick bosses and stance break bs, not to mention bazooka OP, albeit it helped me clear nearly every boss fight.

The zooks are only really OP in PvP because of the netcode which is absolutely atrocious. Like worse than AC:FA bad. but yes we do need an ACS adjustment in its mechanics. I'm convinced it did the exact opposite of what From Intended it to do.

Weapons, Coquillett / Laser Blade / Huzley / Needle Missiles / Trueno Frame: Kusar head, Nachtrier core and legs, VP-46D arms, Internals: Booster: Flugel / FCS: Abbot / Gen: Hokushi. Can change the pistol to the Duckett or the Haldeman shotgun depending on what you want. and the Trueno can be swapped out for any of the faster locking missiles.

@@ravenseyeimage The Coquillett are better if all you want them for is ACS breaks. If you want them to do damage the Ducketts are better. That's up to what you need. as for the Trueno. I actually think they're terrible in many ways but I had to run them at the time. They still do the job of ACS stacking, but it just feels horrible having to stop on a LW. So it is only ever occasionally worth the risk.
