Great video! Hated Gibson when he pitched against the Mets but he was probably the best pitcher I ever saw (sorry Tom Seaver). From the stats quoted, he may have pitched more complete games in 1968 by himself than the entire National League did this last season!

You think 2006 NLCS hurt with Beltran? Try entering the bottom of the ninth inning up 2 runs and watching your team implode but somehow get to 2 outs still with a 1 run lead, before some no name off the bench in ATL singles and Barry F'n Bonds cant throw out Sid Bream (with 2 bad knees) running from second. That is heartbreak.... They we had 20+ years of sucking, under .500 ball. Then we got a couple years making the WC, but couldnt finish off STL in Division series in 2013 up 2-1, then got our asses kicked by Jake Arietta and Madison Bumgarner in the WC game the next two year AT HOME. Since then, more sucking under .500 ball, and watching future CY Young winners start here in what is essentially, a Major League Farm Team.
