That fact that more people can't understand Sion's perspective feels to me like an admission of people never having put in a genuine effort that's been totally overshadowed by someone who looks like they're barely even trying. Like, that is a really intense frustration. He's clearly not handling it maturely, but I still get him. Think about it, you and along side all the other people who are all trying their utmost to master a set of skills and rules that your society runs on. You THINK you're one of the few upper echelons of your class, and truly you are, because you've worked hard for years, but you're still not even the best. Now imagine there's some guy who is just hanging around, not even able to do what you can, but his very presence suggests he thinks he should be as good as you and the others, even though he isn't even really trying or succeeding at any of the stuff you are. Then, all of a sudden, you find out that, not only is he hiding his real talent, he's DEFINITELY better than you in ways you never even considered. He makes your worst nightmares look like cakewalks, and he's been quiet about it this whole time? He's just been waiting to quietly mock and undermine all your hard work? In a way that completely flies in the face of everything you've ever believed or struggled for. If I didn't have the omniscience of perspective the show provides, if I didn't already know how hard Will himself has struggled and suffered, I think I'd be on Sion's side too, at least a little. It's all about pride and perspective. These are only a few of the the inherent flaws in a purely meritocratic society.

You are right, if we didn't have Will perspective we would probably understand Sion a bit better. But I feel like there are other ways to take your frustration out, like improving yourself even more. The way he goes about things is not it for me.

Garp will bring a big "impact" next episode based on his actions in the last part of this episode. Hahaha If you are asking who is stronger, you can say Kuzan Aokiji based on the events but we'll see.

Really glad you mentioned Glay did Ace of Diamond song because i could not remember where i knew band from. 8:08 Ikimono gakari did Blue Bird (Naruto Shippuden OP3), Naruto Shippuden OP5 and Seven Deadly Sins OP1. You definitely heard of band.

You are right, I really like Ikimonogakari! I'm used to seeing the name without the hyphen. Also since the song was muted I couldn't hear her voice, I would probably recognize it immediately. Thanks for pointing it out!

I think the steam rise while the deer girl is dying is a reference something. Maybe JoJo's Bizarre Adventure or Attack on Titan, i can't remember exactly where but it feels very familiar.
