This made me cry. It was hard to ignore that it was the old men in the audience who were the veterans and they were the first to stand and take off their hats. I am old too and I'm from that generation where God, the flag, the country, and our families all meant the most and deserved honor and respect. It would be nice to hear more patriotic songs occasionally. Maybe it would help revive some of the old spirit.
