I couldn't really get into Myst 5 mainly because I was so used to FMV by that time and in 2005 computer graphics were still not really up to the standard to match anything Revelations produced.

This is good but wrong instruments and odd twangs. Meant to be played through a CM-series of LAPC-1 device. Still cool. But sounds much better with the right card.

Roland MT-32 is a midi player. I only have these as tracker modules, didn't know midi files were used, perhaps this is only on the PC port

@@dcocz3908 Amiga version used 3 MOD files written by Barry Leitch. Atari ST used YM conversions of the 3 MOD tunes. Barry Leitch converted the 3 musics for the MT32 using the Imagitec internal MED (Music EDitor) tool, which use an 'MODtracker-style' UI. Gremlin published the DOS version of the game with only 1 music file (the ingame music), original 'Intro' and 'menu' musics are not present in the DOS port, the 'ingame' track loops forever (same thing when using an adlib/soundblaster output).

Had this game on the Amiga. The PC version is nice but I think my heart still belongs to the soundtrack on the Amiga.

I remember the music would just start all over again all the time after some move. There was no continuation. Only graphics were really amazing

Great music, great game! I played it a lot as a kid. The Iron lich and its sound caused me nightmares though... The big flying skull with terrifying sounds and strong attacks

I am looking for a game very similar to this, but more stylized (less realistic) if i recall. Theres a scene with a man who is locked in one of those neck and hands wooden lock structure. He then somehow escapes and there are trolls or goblin like guards that he must navigate around or fight. Its uses predetermined static cameras and i believe prerendered background and full 3d models for the characters. Iv been searching for this game since the 90s. Its not one of the well known games. I think it is a super obscure game.
