I feel more confident now after watching this. My 2023 blew a seal at 36 hours. Just have to buy a few tools to get this job done

@@kennethsimek8707 it sucks but I was able to replace my seals. Only thing is now when i compress the forks, they dont fully rebound unless I pull up on them. I can’t feel that when im riding only when im loading and unloading the bike

That was one of the best instructional videos I've seen. I feel like I can do this. I've always been a bit scared to open my forks up!

800 ml is if you split the cases and absolutely drain every bit of oil. 675 ml is the target.

I use a drill with a step bit to make perfect grip holes. Op, any reason why you didn’t tap with a drill?

How do you like the FC? Looking at getting an FC 450 for desert/dune riding. Gotta post more videos of the FC 350 👏🏼

Is the FMF lighter? If so, any idea how much? Do you have any idea about the top speed on the 350’s? I’m guessing the 5 speed gearbox might be a little less than the 6? Nice bikes!
@robjenanderson
@robjenanderson Жыл бұрын
From what I can see it’s about 1 lb lighter than stock. I now have 4 hours with the fmf on the bike. It definitely pulls harder mid to top end. Each gear seems like it will just keep pulling. I’m not sure on the top speed as it doesn’t have a speedometer.

Definitely need to lose the music if you make anymore videos. The exhaust note is what the people want! Nice ride though!

My fan instantly turns on when connected to power. Any suggestions on how to deal with this? Also just want to confirm. If I put the fan relay fuse in without the addition harness directly to the battery the fan will still not run? It needs to go through this harness directly to the battery? I have tried adjusting my temperature when the fan comes on and it doesn't make a difference it is well below those temps and still decides to kick on.

was your bike heating up, you installed new fan?
@robjenanderson
@robjenanderson 2 жыл бұрын
I ride a lot of slow technical trail rides here in Utah. It was installed to prevent the bike from overheating. The fan kicks on during the hot summer months but keeps the bike running at temp to prevent any over heating issues that come from slow technical riding. Unless you have some airflow across the radiator it will heat up.

@@robjenanderson ok.. Question... coolant reservoir is the plastic and radiator is the metal one. which one do you fill coolant, plastic reservoir? I'm a little ignorant on bikes.
@robjenanderson
@robjenanderson 2 жыл бұрын
@@IMurderdTheDevil The radiator is aluminum. It has a metal cap on the right side of the bike to fill it with. Be careful not to open the cap if the bike is hot as it is under pressure and will spray you. I’m not sure what plastic cap you are referring to.

@Thatsupermoto

It is at 3 hours
@robjenanderson
@robjenanderson 3 жыл бұрын
I have personally done my first oil changes at 5 hrs. I like to then do it on the 20 hr marks. For me it makes it easier to keep track of when I need to change the oil. If you are racing I would recommend to change the oil more frequently. If you ride slow single track I’ve had good success changing every 20 hrs.
