I have one! But I turned it into a travelers notebook style. I punched 2 holes at the top and bottom and threaded some 2mm string though it. I can add at least four comp books and homemade goodies I made. Great review !

Thank you so much for such a thorough and well thought out video describing the Webster’s Pages Composition Planner! I didn’t have to watch any other videos, because you basically covered every question I had! I sincerely appreciate that.

Love your altered composition notebooks? What type of glue did you use to glue the scrapbook paper on your composition page? I would love to try it. Thanks for sharing!
@lindadi97816 жыл бұрын
I printed the printable for the covers on sticker paper and just stuck it on after removing the backing. The inside pages were printed on regular paper and put in with a gluestick by folding and wrapping the edges of the printable around the page and gluing another printable page on top of the folded edges.

Is there not a store where you can buy just the binder for way cheaper that will work?
@lindadi97817 жыл бұрын
Hi Niki This is an answer to all of your questions. I hope I get all of them right :) I suppose you live somewhere in Northern America. As I said in the video, I live in Switzerland at the moment, so I can't tell you, what kind of products are sold at Walmart. Neither do I know the prices over there, or where you could get the same product for less money. I bought the binder because I thought I liked it (and in fact I do). I am not in any way connected to Webster's Pages apart from buying their products at my own cost and finding out if they work for me, and so far that composition planner does. I only give my own opinion on the products, and I do like the composition planner. I didn't contact scrapbook.com, so I don't know what they say about the binder. The notebooks themselves have different - and better - paper quality than the regular Mead Composition books do (I only know that brand, not sure if there are other brands). But again, I don't know the price difference. So in the end, you'll have to find out yourself, if for you it is worth the money or not. It also depends on what you want to do in the notebook (just note taking, or drawing, watercolor painting, mixed media). If you just want to jot down notes, the Mead brand will work fine. But most of the other creative stuff requires better paper quality. I hope I could help, don't hesitate if you still have questions! Love, Little Swiss Lady

So we are paying about $70 bucks if you buy all four comp books when you can just go to walmart and get four for a total of about $4.00. I wanna know this before I go buying it because I was gonna buy it today but I won't have the money until tomorrow so I couldn't but I don't want to get ripped off. If you couldn't find the binder (outside) part you could just buy a ring binder and make your own under $10 dollars. I want to buy these but I'm not totally sure what to do.
@NikiReynolds_2swift7 жыл бұрын
They said at Scrapbook.com that you can get at least 3 of the books in there but they are putting them behind the one that is already in there instead of in the front like you are.
@NikiReynolds_2swift7 жыл бұрын
So is this worth buying or is it like the .99 cent Comp books you can buy at walmart?
@kathie98236 жыл бұрын
Niki Reynolds I'm not sure exactly what your asking about. But I just bought the cover by Webster Pages at Hobby Lobby on clearance for $8. It will hold the Wal-Mart comp. books. It is just a fancy cover.
@letsgetorganizedbyplanning78996 жыл бұрын
I'm sure it's like the one at wal-mart. I just purchased some on sale for .50cent. ONLY, difference is you'll have to create your layout.

I love, love, love the way you altered your composition notebooks! Mixed Media styles are awesome! Love that you chose to do this video. I actually purchased the Happy Planner cover and it's made exactly like the Webster's Notebook.

For the 3 rd notebook would you be able to put the covers on each side & that book would automatically open to the 3rd??
@lindadi97817 жыл бұрын
Hi Sabrina! I suppose you could do that. But be aware, that the cover of the third notebook might get bent, as it will wrap around the spines of the other two books. I've only put a third notebook in for transport (without sliding it in the pockets), so nothing thats just lying in the notebook gets lost, because it is "squeezed" safely inside. Have a beautiful weekend!

thanks for sharing the pretty fold do I need to cut anything of since I want to do one for an size A6 plz let me know cause I want to try an create the folder as well thank you in advance for the tutorial
@lindadi97817 жыл бұрын
Hi! Thanks for your comment! As far as I know, A6 is about 4,1 x 5,8 inches (correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't own that size). The easiest way to find the right size for your folder ist to measure your inserts. For A6 I would do the following adjustments: For the bottom fold, check the exact height of your insert. Add 2.1/2" to that (I wouldn't make the pocket any larger than that for optical reasons). That will be the size of the paper you need, so cut it down to that. Turn the paper sideways on the scoreboard, top facing to the right and score at 2.1/2". Adjust the front flap to just 1", that means you would score at 1", 1.1/4", 5.3/8" or 5.1/2" depending on the exact size of your notebook (just hold it against the 1.1/4" scoreline to see what works best). After you're done folding you can just cut off the overhang at the back (which I estimate is about 2.1/4 to 2.1/2"). You could also cut off 1/4" to 1/2" more, to make the back pocket more easily accessible. Just try out, what you think is best. The acetate should be the exact size of your notebook. I hope this will help. Please let me know if it worked out! Love, Linda

how do u make pocket ? Also is this planner with black cover a good size for everyday purse ?
@lindadi97818 жыл бұрын
I will put up a video soon to show you how I make the pocket. With the cover the planner is approximately 17 x 22 cm or 6 1/2 x 8 1/2 inches. The thickness depends on how much you stuff it. I personally find it too big to carry around, but they have several sizes. Try to check out their website! Maybe you can find something to fit your needs ;)
