I had to have it REALLY early. I developed rlly early, so I had the puberty talk at about 6.
@BellaDustUziКүн бұрын
I was 7 when I had the talk. It’s something that children should know about. And it should not be a taboo. It’s legit just biology.
@BellaDustUziКүн бұрын
OH MY GOSH. That is exactly what I first thought it was!!! And then I didn’t have the talk for a few more months.

Why does this woman stick her nose into the issue of intact or circumcised penises? Does she get her jollies from it? Topic best left for male physicians who have done adequate research. I am cut; my older brother was not. I was jealous and resentful. Playing with a nice foreskin adds pleasure when servicing an uncut cock. Chewing lightly on the tip of the foreskin is enjoyable for both parties. During anal sex, the foreskin helps the penis move in and out better. I think this is one pleasure she may have missed. 👍

📈Is there a rise in kids mimicking moaning sounds? Has your intermediate age kid been making moaning sounds? What do you say? How do you tell them that it’s inappropriate behavior? 🫢The reason this is an uncomfortable talk for many parents is because they have to explain pleasure and that mainstream movies and TV shows will depict pleasure by this type of sound. There could be a number of reasons as to why kids make this sound. Have they seen p•rn? Have they watched a s•x scene on TV or in a movie? Do they notice they get a reaction from you or their friends? 📽️For the purposes of this video, let’s focus on what to say to your kid when you hear them making moaning sounds for laughs. 👉🏼Approach it like you would other behaviors that are inappropriate. Be specific and direct in your explanation and show the seriousness of the behavior. “That moaning sound is made to insinuate an adult having s•x. S•x is not something children do or that adults do in public. Making that sound at home, in school, on the bus - basically anywhere in private or public - is inappropriate and unacceptable behavior because it is considered rude and inconsiderate to make moaning sounds towards someone. Those sounds can make some adults and children feel uncomfortable and therefore it’s never OK to make those sounds for your amusement as it can cause harm to others.” If you haven’t explained s•x, you will need to do that in order for them to understand why you are being serious about this. (If you need help on how to explain the 3 types - lmk by sending me a DM & I’ll share a video with you!) You can also ask them why they started to do this behavior in order to identify if they may be a victim of abuse. This type of behavior if gone unchecked can be a form of harassment so ignoring it is not the appropriate response. 💙

Ms. Kathleen, I started watching your videos a couple days ago & I’m gonna be straight forward, im in the eight grade & the first video I saw was your most popular one, I have very mixed feelings about it but I have so so so much respect for you & the dynamic you teach BUT… Jk no buts. One thing I just think about, is I feel like as a child who grew up in an age where kids watching/knowing 🌽 is somewhat normal I associated a personal experience I had with 🌽 to just being bad generally so I have associated m*sturb*ting to 🌽. A while back I found one of my mom’s toys while looking for some bandaids in her bathroom 😅 & I was mad at her… Because of my associations to those kinds of things… I only shared that bc when it was a thing at the time she told my therapist at the time, that she didn't think it was a big deal. but back to the point. Growing up always been a weird mix of extroverted but shy I'd like to chalk it down to, "I'm bashful but shy". For the longest time i had just preferred to avoid the s*x talk bc it was just uncomfortable to me, now i realize that it couldve maybe helped and I've also thought "how would my mom react if i tried to initiate the talk with her or asked her for a toy" so i guess i just want your opinion on something i should do, if anything. (Also if my text is a little weird my auto fill was acting funny. Also if my comment was to personal let me know and I can take it down) ❤❤❤

Thank you for the openness and acceptance in your discussion, not just for the non-monogamous but those of us that are monogamous. Growing up in the ‘70s I became a big fan of Robert Heinlein’s science fiction. In many of his books from the ‘60s and ‘70s his characters were in non traditional marriages. Not as the point of the story, it was just part of the story, part of his characters. I didn’t realize until years later how much that openness and normalcy (for those characters) impacted me and my acceptance of others. I’ve been married (heterosexual) for 48 years to a wonderful woman. She survived childhood trauma that has impacted our physical relationship. For most of the last 35 years that trauma and not being able to heal from it has been very difficult for both of us. I have to reassure her that being with her, even without the physical part, is better than not being with her. I guess my point is that loving relationships do not have to be sexual, but that it is wonderful when they can be that too. To me the importance and strength lies in the commitment between the people involved. Regarding polyamory, I feel most comfortable with the idea of a kitchen table, committed marriage between the parties, but as long as there is open communication and respect for how their partner(s) and children are treated I think that falls in the ethical side. It is not my place to call judgment on how others are living their lives, for those living in secretive ways where someone is likely to get hurt (especially children) I have less respect. Their choices are between them and God. I hope all that made sense.

I'm extremely close with my parents, mainly my mother. I bought a toy without their knowledge and my dad (obviously) still doesn't know. If my mom bought me a toy, I would be... Mortified. But when she did eventually find out, she didn't prod to see it or want to know what type it was, get mad about it etc. She just simply said "okay," and then gave me some safety tips and asked me questions to make sure I was safe about it. She didn't press for answers I wasn't comfortable sharing I don't recommend giving your kids toys, I don't recommend kids buying toys without the parents knowledge. What I do recommend is open communication, and then the approval to purchase a toy WITHOUT the parent having to know exactly what it is.
