Your alliance raid guides have been super useful for someone that has tankxiety! Maybe I mislooked, but I noticed you don't have any for the NieR ones. Do you plan on ever making guides for those? Regardless, keep up the good work!

I've been meaning to go back and do them. People keep asking for them. Just been busy. That's why this one took so long for me to release as well.

Thanks for this guide. For Absolute Authority, sometimes I would do all the mechanics right as dps; I spread apart, stack for danger dorito, avoid eyes, get to all safe zones in the process, and I still die in the end... It's the unavoidable raid-wide damage that kills me (and the rest of the dps), even with me using Second Wind. So it looks like the devs really want the dps to die so that the healers can use lb3 like in this video. If the dps are to be given any chance at survival, then there needs to be some kind of raid buff to help them out (e.g. shields to soak up some of the damage).
@DemonSlayerGaming123 күн бұрын
Aoe damage is very high in this portion and a lot of healers will be focusing on doing the mechanics right themselves so not doing a ton of healing. All healers do have access to instant cast aoe heals and shields though along with most tanks and even some DPS having them. So ideally if everyone is doing their part there shouldn't be any issues staying alive. Also you didn't mention the dice mechanic so just wanted to bring that one up cause I do believe it is a instant kill if your still moving when the dice finish counting down. Could just be I've just never survived the damage from it after all the other aoe damage though.
@joshuyaraidon23 күн бұрын
@@DemonSlayerGaming1 Oh yeah, forgot about the dice mechanic, but if I've reached the eyes part then that probably means I did that one right too lol. I don't believe I've ever survived failing the dice mechanic myself, so instant kill sounds about right. I'm not expecting heals or anything during the mechanics, but I assume buffs can be applied right before it starts. At least, that's what I try to do when I play as healer.
@DemonSlayerGaming123 күн бұрын
@joshuyaraidon I would agree. Especially since the ability spam has such a long wind up before it happens.

I've always wondered... is Sanngetall not a shared tankbuster in the duty like it is during the FATE? It's the only ARR tankbuster i died to doing content MINE while i had a 30 percent cooldown running, so it makes me think the other tank should have been with me.
@DemonSlayerGaming12 ай бұрын
No. Shared tank busters is a much newer mechanic. Older content such as this didn't have them. Instead we did tank swaps so you would use more than one cool down per tankbuster and soon as the hit occured the other tank would provoke it so there was time to heal you back up. For some of the older tank busters it was also possible for the off tank to provoke during the cast time to take the tank busters by itself and then the main tank would provoke it back after. It was a much messier system than the shared tank busters are. Some of the more recent content though has started adding back tank busters that require multiple cool downs to mitigate correctly so I would suggest to try and get in the habit of using at least two cool downs per tank buster.
@misawa86292 ай бұрын
@@DemonSlayerGaming1 There's shared tankbusters in ARR though. Shiva's cleave in extreme is meant to be shared by the party. The FATE version of Odin's cleave is a shared buster as well. Kaliya in T11 also does a shared tankbuster. There's a couple in Heavensward as well, such as Ravana, Brute Justice, and the Faust-Z in A9S. Anyway i'm aware of how to mitigate busters, I was just wondering due to the high damage of the cleave if it didn't work the same way as it did in the FATE. The only other cleaves i can think of that hit that hard are the cleave in A12S and Bahamut's cleaves at min ilvl.
@DemonSlayerGaming12 ай бұрын
Did not know any of those were meant to be shared. Have always taken them solo except the Alexander one. I checked several other sources and none specified it could be shared so I would have to personally check it to see.
@misawa86292 ай бұрын
@@DemonSlayerGaming1 Most people wouldn't realize they're shared unless they do the fights at min ilvl. It's possible to take them solo with just one cooldown if you only do them synced.

It always amazes me that groups don't understand that stacking in Melee range for those Stack Mechanics is the best way to ensure continued damage on the boss. On the first boss in this video, I don't think y'all stacked in Melee range even once. Another super helpful video by the way, thank you!
@DemonSlayerGaming13 ай бұрын
Most people are concerned with their personal damage instead of party damage. So yea sometimes it just happenes that way. At least they did stack though so didn't haven't people dieing which stops all dps.

@@DemonSlayerGaming1 Thats fine, just don't make final boss fight with 100 different mechanics. Have you tried it with a BM. They are just to slow moving.
@DemonSlayerGaming13 ай бұрын
BM is no slower than any other class. People who play them just don't want to move. So it takes superior game knowledge than other players. You need to know what mechanic is coming next so you can set yourself up for success and not have to more, or at least move as little as possible. I've leveled every class so yes I know it can be done.

@@DemonSlayerGaming1 Ive watched the guide for the fight many times, failed it like 10 times in a row with npc party lol. Might just switch to faster moving Ninja lol.
@DemonSlayerGaming13 ай бұрын
This is definitely one I would say the NPC party is a little lacking for. It won't be the last though. That's part of games going on as long as this one has. If all the higher level dungeons were the same difficulty as the lower ones everyone would just get bored and quit. This the first dungeon that the difficulty starts to spike a bit.

You narrate well and the community needs additional dungeon guide sources. This could be a good niche for you. I would recommend you edit this video if you intend on keeping it listed as, "in depth." You get one chance to make a first impression. I think that is worth an edit to address the tea cups.
@neiabaraja20444 ай бұрын
Concerning Jack-in-the-Pots 2nd and all other troubling teacups, the Ghosts will not always be opposite each other. Sometimes they will also form something like an L shape. Like one ghost being in the outer West Cup and the other will be in the inner Nord Cup. They will however always end up in the "shape" they started in. Basically if the west cup ends up in the south, the other ghost will also always be in the inner west cup still forming that L shape. I hope that explanation is alright xD
