I'm actually working on a course to teach Greensleeves and explore some fun variations on its chord structure. It's a wonderful piece to learn, and there are so many ways to improvise on it. Thank you so much for your kind words, and it’s wonderful to hear you’ve been playing for 12 years! I’m actually working on something a bit special for Greensleeves. It’s more than just sheet music-it’s an improvisational exercise I created to inspire musicians to explore the song’s beautiful chord progression, experiment around the melody, and develop their own variations. It even includes a warm-up to ease into the progression. Would you like me to let you know once it’s polished and ready? You have inspired me to create a video sharing some of these ideas about improvising with Greensleeves, as I think it could be a fun and rewarding way to expand on this beautiful piece.
