I didn't buy any of these, so it is great to watch your review to see how good they are! They look great. The main difference as compared to the JT advertising photos is the red color. It seems the red is brighter in the actual figures.

@@ac-studio hey AC - it really depends on the light: in the darkness they look quite dull red. But if they get some ambient or direct light they ... shine of magic!

I bought one of these guys the combi melta combo knowing these guys are not in the modern setting but I decided to make a back story for him like he's one of the thousand sons who Magnus sent far away before the Burning of prospero when the rubric happened he's one of the lucky ones who didn't turned to dust but ended up becoming one of the powerful ones so I'm just waiting for when joytoy make the inquisition or the rogue trader just to add him as part of the retinue.

wow, this is an amazing background - thanks for sharing! Hopefully JT will give you some Inquisition characters too: in the meanwhile, I have seen several people building customs using existings sisters of battle and/or other JT figures, from soldiers to Infinity!

@marioshobbyhq after consulting voice's in the warp (reddit) I found out that the thousand sons were basically doomed from the rubric but some became powerful sorcerers some turned to dust but some actually became loyalist like the the one who help the white scars and became the first grand master of the grey knights and others who came to Terra and joined the knights errant by malcador mines of course is like I said is part of either a rogue traders or inquisitors retinue, knowing that he needs a name cause the box never given the sekmet names I think I'm going to call him brother Ra it's not his real name but mostly others call him.

LOL you are right - warhammer designs are often impractical and over the top, and this make them unique. But I see the trend is changing, with more realistic proportions and designs for newer releases. But Chaos Terminators are vintage stuff!

Ah yes my favorite terminators when they got stiff joints I suppose to used lubricant but someone has been using them and I run out so I have no choice to use cooking oil still the same.

@marioshobbyhq I only got two of them the power claws and the power axe cause it's accurate what they are using I used cooking oil to lub up the joints it ruined the fresh smell and smelled like bacon also would howl at my toys cause they thought it was dog chow.

See the links to the shops in the description. It is an old model these days, difficult to find but maybe you will get lucky! (watch out: these old things tend to become quite expensive with time, so anything over 80$ is not worth the expense)

The gap did not bother me, all figures have that and you can make it less evident with your posing skills ;) They are quite solid, and there are no gummy (soft) parts like the MK3 legionaries, for example. Sergeant is my favourite!

Great figurines🔥, I think the only issue with them is that they are sold only in a pack of three, which is a bit pricey.

Yeah, I got them in early 2023 for 105$, but these days they are quite difficult to find at decent prices. Maybe we will see re-releases, hopefully re-egineered (they have weak feet joints and the shoulder joints feel quite prone to break is overstressed!

@@marioshobbyhq im more meaning that the amount of detail, there were plastic models being produced in 2000 to 2002 that were more detailed with fine detail, and they were 1/4 the price, the quality of the models released by GW for over 10 years has been abysmal especially when they only bother with detail once you are paying £60+ per model

I bought the librarian in terminator armor, he is so big next to normal marine. It break the scaling.

Yup: IMHO all new terminators are to be kept in separate shelves from the older figures but they should fit better with figures Space Marine 2 lineup. Or you need to play with perspective tricks: just workarounds anyway, no perfect solution is possible, sadly!
