Do you mean by 'corpses' the vampires? Because if you go by what we've seen in Michael's transformation in the movie, you don't become a vampire through your own death, but rather by drinking the blood of a vampire, which turns you into a half-vampire, and then by killing a human, you become a full vampire... (At least that's how I remember it).

Lord Byron sodomizing Polidori is really so predictable...something inside me tell me how the true inner self of Polidori was so different of all those devils of the Shelly marriage and Byron´s even Claire´s , that he was close of them just bc he wanted to be influenced in a skilled way in the letters, because he was attached to the narrative, knowing how all those circles were the most famous and best poets of England in that time, but this ruined absolutelly his life, Byron abused of him in every sense, and didn´t let him keep his most famous book, the vampire. Horrid but curious. In the same way i´d say how Polidori was not very lover of opened love or orgy like the rest of this amazing writers, maybe i´m wrong, just saying.

I am amazed. This never happened. How could they! 😢 So much calumny! Byron is not what you have heard of. I have made my research and Byron was not like that. He was just a divorced man and like any divorced man he met a new girl and he tried to built what was then destroyed. But Clara was too modern with her feminist ideas and Byron was about a normal traditional woman. Women approached him, not the other way around. He did not have a father and that affected his behavior. Unhappy married women for some unusual reason fell for him. Maybe because he seemed to be the ideal romantic man, or even because he was famous. And Clara had been persecuting him to exhaustion at a moment he was vulnerable. Also he never did such a thing to Polidori. Never at all!!!!
