I was always told to not hold a trout like that! Am I wrong?
@JustinCarf3 ай бұрын
That’s the best way to hold them if you’re going to. Just wet your hand before you grab them as to not harm the slime layer.

Awesome vid man! Love to see you getting out there even tho its still icy! I'm curious, are you using any fuji film recipes? Or are you shooting raw and editing?
@JustinCarf9 ай бұрын
Thanks! For the X100V I shoot both. A film simulation and a raw file. In this particular video I used the raw files to bring up the contrast of certain things. I use a mix of both, though. Often times I'm just using the images straight out of camera, but still saving the raw file on a few images I feel that warrant the save that I could possibly use later for print or a few publications that reach out to me for images.

Tou definitely need to make it back up this way. I was up by Monticello. The power plant is pushing warm water in to the river further upstream. Closer you get to the power plant the better, but I was further downstream.

How is the 2wt? I’m looking at possibly going from 310-4 clear water to a 210-4 recon. I’m in western WA, usually catching 6-10” wild bows and 12” coastal cutthroat
