How wonderful of you to help these poor kitties out with food and some fresh water to drink . With winter soon coming I hope you will be able to help them with a shelter from the cold and snow. Thank you and yes, Chicago Animal Care and Control is a location that I’ve taken 1) a cat and her baby ( I have a KZbin of it) 2) a lost cat with a collar on, 3) a sick cat(ginger) and recently 4) stray cat lucky and her kittens

Hey. I'm on Southside too. I took a feral that had been with me and was told they're no longer acce p ting cats . We ubered from 67th and South shore $26. Someone asked me to leave her in a nice neighborhood and I explained to them that I just learned it's not good to take them away from their feral group of friends and that if I left her in another neighborhood it could be bad and cat may spend rest of its life trying to find way back home. Can you imagine. I almost cried when I heard that. Anyways I brought her back home and let her out of carrier outside she hasn't been back at my house since then : ( I feel so bad for dragging her all the way to CAC and she was so mad at me she growling at me when I tried to get close. I'm torn and hope she comes back to my house once the cold settles in. ❤❤❤❤

Bless you for taking care of them. I used to feed two strays at my old house. One would come every evening at 9pm and the other at 8:30 am everyday. It is costly but you get some Joy out of making sure they are fed and cared for. Blessings ❤

I feed alot of strays, it can because expensive I see you place 2or3 different kinds of cat food in dishes here's a way to save money mix both wet and dry together ( 2/3 cans to 2/3 cups dry) cause a time go's on you'll see many more mouths to feed. Another was to save is to make your own it's very simple and healthy. If you would like how to make an entire week's, let me know

I was driving along one nice summer day when I came up on two motorcycles blocking the highway. There were maybe 40 bikes in a bars parking lot that were getting ready to pull out. I drove around the two blocking the road and they yelled at me to stop. I kept going and soon all the bikers came roaring in my rear view mirror. They did nothing and I know why. I have Purple Heart plates and even hardcore bikers respect that.

That was a sanctioned ride, people. Not a MC. It was some type of escort, possibly a funeral. With the police escort, the ride has right-of-way at all intersections.

Police escort or not we have the right to travel together for safety reasons. We can block the road. Many times we are riding like this for a fundraiser. 2 days ago it was for Children with special needs.

Sonya Massey BOILED LIQUID and CALLED POLICE. When SHERIFF DEPUTIES ARRIVED she called back to 911 because SHE WANTED POLICE THERE. She had no idea that the SHERIFF were the law enforcement that would be called for a domestic event. When she discovered that they were going to be who responded she refrains from ID'ing. Then asks a Deputy to touch her bible. While still refusing to ID she mentions the pot. At this POINT she is told to TURN OFF THE BURNER. INSTEAD she turns off the burner and grabs the pot. When the deputies move and say they are moving so they cannot be burnt, SHE REBUKES THEM. At this point she is at gunpoint. She sets the pot down. Crouches down behind the counter. And as the deputy draws closer to detain her... SHE STANDS BACK UP, GRABBING THE POT OVERHEAD and THROWING it, BEFORE THE DEPUTY EVER FIRED A ROUND!
