I feel like the fitment on those large bearings isn't tight enough. If the bearings slip at all thats a huge parasitic loss.

Having 2 giant hydraulic pistons power the gear ratio like in the book is really smart I never would have thought about that

I wish I paid more attention in science. I hated learning about this kinda stuff but now I'm fascinated by it, especially gyroscopes. I was so stupid, I'm really disappointed with my childhood self right now.

This is never new. Such wheels existing since about 4000 to 6000 Years. They are described in the book of Hesekiel in the Bible. Read this book carefully what happend to this Prophet and YOU'LL be stunned!!! In front of Hesekiel there was a landing of a flying object and on ground it moved exactly this way. He describes it very accuarate.

Straight lines would be impressive, the wheel design screams Sideways and Circled locomotion. What would be most impressive is a straight line & at what speed. An impressive feat, what has been done here fair enough. But.. its supposed to be a transport. Will keep an eye on the channel, its interesting stuff nonetheless. And just as an aside, would recommend some kind of head protector (experimental powered bike). If only to promote their wear for any youngsters watching.

@@exanimato6586 The beauty of things is in their usefulness....what is this vehicle for? To spend so much time, intelligence and resources to drive around in a parking lot like a dizzy cockroach? Yes, to massage the ego, act smart and make money with views. As for me personally, since you mentioned it, I am a doctor and I do the best I can within my reality, without views or internet money, but I am more concerned with patient satisfaction and the coherence of my mind in the face of my beliefs.

Would be really useful to create self-balancing that can follow you. Use case would be an EUC which you pack your camping gear and then you go hiking while it does all the heavy lifting. Don't think it would be a problem if it tips over if you go too slow.
