Love this comment! I always think about that whenever I listen to Toad or just Glen... how it's possible to create such outstanding music and lyrics and then the talent to perform it.

Like so many us, I can really resonate with this song. I've experienced great love at times in my life. Yet overall it has ended in great sorrow, leaving me to wonder if I even know what love really means and making me wonder if it's worth trying again. Each and every woman I've loved throughout my 65 years despite the great times spent has ended up with one or both of us breaking each other's heart and leaving me to wonder if any of us really knows what love really means and asking if it's worth the damage caused to the soul?

Well, I'm 36 and feel the same way you described. People only value immediate pleasure and don't want to build a structured relationship with all its colors and particularities. It's sad.

I learned a few of Toad the Wet Sprocket songs when much younger in the 90's. I forgot how good they were. It's good to,see all the great music Glenn still puts out.

There is no housing crisis if you make over a million dollars a year.......those of us who make under 40,000 a year are screwed and no one cares.....here in Seattle homeless advocates talk a good game and the government spends big$$$$ to cyclone fence off every underpass, bridge.....to keep out tents and RVs ....the poor have been shown the door by government and landlords .....the asset class runs the show......

If this can happen to billionaires, it's time to stop ridiculing preppers. While we're at it, it's time to stop ridiculing Conspiracy Fact'ers and homeopathic cures, too. Use science; being programmed to ridicule is not an excuse.

I lived in s Barbara 60 years. I was on Sec 8 as a disabled senior, I'm 71 now, I did nothing wrong when the co. Housing Authority put me in the street and denied me A hearing. Even though I had serious health problems with doctors letters saying it would cause my demise to put me in the street, I have not been able to get my medical care because I had to relocate to Redding California just to have a roof over my head, I call it dantes Inferno, I know no one here or my way around have tried for two years to get help here. Especially for medical problems. I miss my hometown dearly. I was told by hud that they have received a lot of complaints about the Santa Barbara County Housing Authority, it's supposed to help homelessness not create it
