I've never tried... but you could try putting them in glycerine - they do dry quite nicely... I place them in my outdoor decor... and they last a long time... Let me know if you try something that works!

Watching you on PBS. Noted your mom liked edelweiss and said schluck (not schlug- similar sounding) first is a swallow, gulp, sip - second is a slap. Guessing since it was the delicious shrimp dip, it was a schluck of sauce. Anyway, mom was swiss or german, since we used this word at home all the time. Take a schluck of Wasser. Love your shows. So much talent

Wow, I'm just amazed at this DIY You Tube tutorial. Like, I do a lot of crafts and researching how-to's, but this guy has by far blown my mind with this project and the simplicity of the process and the depth of instruction. Just wow!

So I guess you don't add water to the foam at all right? I know it's probably a silly question. But you did say wired flowing bouquets make it so you can't get water to the flowers so I was just wondering

Interesting they were supposed to be blue but they don’t look much different form any other purple or lavender rose. They are still beautiful though

I agree... they do have a Blue Cast... and No Matter what the color- these are the longest lasting roses- I have ever experienced... they last for 2 full weeks... They are still working on a Bluer Rose... and they are getting it right with their Ocean Series Chrysanthemums... so stay tuned for more developments... and thank you for the kind comment... with your great observation... I truly appreciate your positivity and kindness... THANK YOU!

For how long the gala holder needs to soak?
@LifeinBloom5 ай бұрын
Float Soaking of a Bouquet holder takes about 30 seconds to one minute... it's not long at all...

@@LifeinBloom Thank you for answering. Now, do you let the excess water drip? Another questions: Where I can find how to build the moss stand? Where can I find the spray that you used to lock the flowers and how do you lock them at the bottom so the stems won't slide out?
@LifeinBloom2 ай бұрын
@@gloriam.aviles1111 Just leave the bouquet - once created- in the stand- and let it set for about 20 minutes- the excess water will drip away- it's not something you want to force... the flowers will begin to take up water- immediately- so the dripping won't take more than 20 minutes... The Instructions and Video for the Moss Stand are on my Website- uBloom.com- Memberships are 7.99 a month- for unlimited viewing... FlorLock- is available on Line- at oasisfloralproducts.com- or at Local Wholesale Supply Florists- You can most likely buy it from a professional florist as well... The name of the product is FloraLock...

how long do the flowers stay fresh using this technique?
@LifeinBloom5 ай бұрын
It depends on the Flowers- my friend... Carnations and Chrysanthemums can last for nearly 2 weeks in Flower Foam... Roses and Lilies - not quite as long... but the Oasis Company has designed their flower foam to be the perfect combinations for flowers to transmit water to the blooms- so it's a very positive experience... when you use Smithers Oasis Brand Flower Foam! THANK YOU for the question!
