When I was a kid, my parents didn’t let me own a regular Guitar Hero game, so having this was big to me. In case you're wondering how I got it, a guy at my church gave it to me one night we were staying there. My family and I lived an hour away from our church and we staying there on a Saturday night.

What is the monkey game at 8:56 called? I had it but in a different casing
@GadZombieАй бұрын
It has been produced in many different cases and with different names. This one is called Monkey but I had it named Turtle Slalom also. All of these games were produced in China and sold around the world.

I just noticed, the cell that they used for the racing game seems either traced or flat out stolen from the Sonic racing LCD McDonald’s game from 2003.

Howdy - this is Richard E. Sansom (the game designer/developer for Stealth). I posted some historical information about Stealth ("Landscape" was the original/working title) here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmfGZZiiiMyUoMk. Please take a look at my comments there, if you're curious.

As a child, I had a very simular handheld. I got it for christmas and I loved it. Mine was orange and the gameplay was different. But it must have come from the same factory, cause the shape was very simular as well as the LCD elements. E.g. I remember the "GAME A" think in the corner. The gameplay was like this. You had to steer a spaceship through an asteroid field and from time to time you had to go to the very left or right to fill up your gaz or something like that. I remember there were some musical musical notes printed above the discplay. The bottom side was black. If anyone owns that particular handheld or has seen it somewhere on the internet, please reach out to me!!!
@GadZombie8 ай бұрын
I'm sure you'll find your game (or very similar) in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ooLQlHmenM5sprs . You description reminds these games but here I had different "graphics". I've seen the asteroids version too but I hadn't got it.
@Eryktion8 ай бұрын
@@GadZombie The "LIFT BOAT" looks very simular. I think it has exactly the same shape and there are even the notes above the display. Also the gameplay is very simular. It's almost the same game with a different theme.
@GadZombie8 ай бұрын
@@Eryktion I believe. The other games in the video has also the same gameplay.

@@GadZombie yeah right. I think the gameplay of my game was a little bit different when it comes to those side thingies. But I'm not sure anymore.

@@Eryktion Then check this out: kzbin.info/www/bejne/omqcmWmegNqmec0si=T17y2mFkTZW9j9i_ This is a bit different racing game with the possibility to go to left or right lane in some cases

Years ago I had one of this handheld games, it had interchangeable "heads" with different screens, but the game was the same as this video (they were frogs, hockey, handball, football, and a sea lion). Unfortunately, although I still keep the game, it won't work anymore, it's deteriorated inside. And today I've got a new machine with the game of the cat and mice, I need to buy a battery and try it.
