well, there are petrified trees but they've fallen down long, long ago. And actually, now that I think about it, I don't think they become petrified until they fall... Yep, the landscape is fascinating.

Battery 201 was built 1943-44. It had two 6-inch guns but the tubes were never installed. A concrete 6-story Battery Commanders Tower was built quite a ways behind the battery for spotting enemy surface vessels. There are plans in place to restore this bunker and tower

@@rmk8259 Hi hope you are well. In the early 70s I saw 2 IH 123 SPV combines working near our farm. They dual wheels on their left side and a single wheel at the back. The 141s were light years ahead from them. I am from South Africa.

Angela - I have thoroughly enjoyed watching all five videos from your trip back to Havre for the 50th reunion of the Class of '73. My name is Joe Pancake and I don't believe we ever met, which is not surprising since I moved from Havre after 7th grade. I grew up on 17th Street and remember well when the new HS was built. I attended Sunnyside, Robbins, and HJH and didn't know many kids who attended St. Jude's or Havre Central Junior High unless they lived in my neighborhood or played sports, etc. I was always disappointed I wasn't able to finish school at Havre and returned often in those early days to spend time with close friends. I recognized many but not all of those faces from the reunion and send my warm regards to them all. What a lovely home you grew up in! I was so impressed with the stone wall your father built and with your mother's flower garden. Gratefully - Joe

Nice to hear from you and glad you enjoyed the video. I was only in Havre for 13 years but came back off and on as my dad had the farm north of Havre and my brother the Havre Daily News bar. My memories are fading fast so I'm glad I did this when I did and that people like you find it fun to watch. Thanks for leaving your comment.

Fun videos! My family moved to 950 7th St. in 1976 when I was 14. My dad (Bob Markwardt) lived there until he passed away 4 years ago. I had a paper route that covered many of the houses you filmed on your walk. Loved seeing the neighborhood along with the old pics😊.
@TibberProductions10 ай бұрын
glad you enjoyed them. I see you were in one of the newer homes, to me anyway (across from the Fishers?, at least in my day). I wish I had done this years ago as I don't quite remember a lot of the area as well anymore, but it was fun to walk around anyway.
