Minutes before finding out my sister had passed, I heard God tell me, I take the good ones home first to draw the rest. Two months after her death on Christmas Eve, I saw a vision of her, pregnant and heard...she eagerly anticipates the birth of her family into everlasting life! Then when my dad (pro-life activist) died, I heard the heavenly choir come to get him; therefore, I have not one thread of doubt of eternity that awaits us. This was confirmed by Hospice. The time separated will be a blink of an eye compared to eternity.

Even though that didn’t happen in the Bible, the theme and message of that story is relevant for us who walk with the Lord. Many things happen that we don’t understand, that breeds questions in our hearts as to why God would allow such things to happen. But ultimately we must trust in His sovereignty and follow Him regardless of our circumstances and limited understanding.
