I think the area is getting exploited enough without a promotional video encouraging city folks to trespass. this area is beautiful. But the land in the video is private property. It belongs to CN rail and Britannia beach mine. Locals use to enjoy the spot but this is no longer the case. Users leave massive amounts of garbage that ends up in the ocean, not to mention there's no bathrooms near by so campers leave human waste as well. There's also no public over night parking. This area is not a park. Campers also enjoy rather large fire's during a campfire ban. I strongly encourage people to respect private property and camp in designated campgrounds only. Brackendale and valley cliff river beaches are also getting over run by campers who simply don't respect the locals or the natural beauty and unfortunately leave their camp spots dirty... perhaps it would be best to promote Britannia beach differently, as 100% there is no public camping in the small community.

Looking forward to another visit very soon to the recenly reopend Sea-to-Sky Gondola ! It's a fantastic experience. An exhilarating ride up and down, spectacular views and tons to explore. A BC 'must do' !
