the playing is so poetic, this is the most beautiful interpretation I've ever heard

I really like how each note is defined and the nuances of its sound, the harmonics are fantastic. Samuel's interpretation is excellent, possibly the best Tárrega's prelude no.5 on youtube. Apparently it is a very well balanced guitar in its frequencies, its sound is round and bright with intense and well defined basses, I love it!

Nice work 👏 What you recommend gule for the bridge to glue it I used walnut wood and rosewood wood for the bridge do you think hide 315 gram strong enough to glue the bridge or keep using titebond red to glue bridge ? Thx
@marcosdomato Жыл бұрын
Thank you! Hide 315 gram is strong enough to glue any bridge. In fact just about any good quality hide glue will do. If the contact surface between the top and the bridge is well made, the glue between the two parts will be stronger than the wood itself. So don't be afraid, go ahead with hide glue. Just keep in mind one thing, try to warm the bridge slightly before gluing it, so you will have more gluing time.

Cool, you don’t see Birdseye maple used often enough. I suppose it results in an instrument on the brighter side of the spectrum. Is that a French polish finish ?.
@marcosdomato Жыл бұрын
The sides of this guitar are laminated, so the effect of the maple on the sound of the guitar is limited but it may still be a little noticeable. In fact it is a guitar with a very rich bass response, even though the top is made of spruce. Indeed the guitar is finished in french polish.

@@marcosdomato I own to guitars with maple back and sides, one is birdseye maple, the other regular maple, and I noticed quite a deep bass compared to other woods, and I wouldn't say they are on the bright side. Maple is one of the best tonewoods for back and sides in my opinion. great work, wonderful guitar you made here in the video
