Compost tea can be acidic or alkaline depending on your water's pH level. That is why we recommend diluting compost tea before using to neutralize pH and facilitate the growth of beneficial bacteria and fungi. The correct ratio is 1 tablespoon of compost tea per gallon of chlorine-free water. Then you can include the solution to periodically puffed plants using specially-designed misting devices in aeroponics systems (both high-pressure and low-pressure systems work).

Here are the results of our in-house study. Recent in vitro studies have shown that the active microorganisms of SCD Essential Probiotics®(EP11) survive in simulated stomach acid levels (pH 3.0 and pH 2.0) 16 times significantly better than the leading brands. At the third hour of trial, SCD Probiotics products’ survivability percentages were 97% at a pH of 3.0 and 12% at a pH of 2.0, while the pH 3.0 survivability percentages of the other two leading brands were <0.01% and 4% respectively. The percent survival of the leading brands at a pH of 2.0 was not detected since they are almost zero.
