It is possible nowadays, as main issue was always second district and abuse of wang car glitch, but now we just abuse how game spawns roadblocks, which I don't think is a glitch in any capacity) Not that I'm interested in glitchless in any way, as it would also be required to ban driving cars up the slopes (and I would imagine certain abuses of game mechanics some people would deem as "glitching" or "cheating the game", hence why I generally avoid those categories as they are quite arbitrary).

@@Tezur0, I agree. Any speedrun naturally involves some degree of taking advantage of game mechanics. I wasn't even thinking about speedrunning or competing with anyone, just about casually sitting down after work and being able to complete all the objectives. Without abusing glitches and without going out of my way with setups. It's stupid that in order to pass all of the Frenzies you're required to do a literal opposite of "frenzy".

I've never had this issue, but if I had to guess it might be something related to where you installed the game. For example - maybe you should try running as admin with xp2 or xp3 compatibility mode. Simple guess that's always worth trying. Second would be - for some reason screen shader that pops up during pickups isn't found (for any reason), then fix from this video should be fixing the problem for you (if replacing things on your own is difficult, there's this video kzbin.info/www/bejne/p2OckImtp8R5esk, where you might just ignore the sprint part). Hope it helps somewhat as otherwise I have no idea, sorry.

@@Tezur0 да, запускается, но изображение жёстко глючит. И читал ещё что только с эмулятором пс1 запускать, а по другому никак. Может ещё от видеокарты зависит, у меня встроенная Интел.

очень странно, не видел каких-то визуальных гличей в этой игре. Ну вообще, если казуально поиграть хочется, то эмуль пс1 вполне себе хороший вариант.

your cpu uptime is the reason, this game is very weird. You need to reboot it. then check in taskmanager that your uptime actually did reset.

Ye, it is really good. I do have a slight hope of gta 2 modding resurging in nearby future though! Only recently Downtown been decompiled / reverse-engineered (I've not read through relevant forum to give you proper answer to which it was), only leaving Residential. Maybe with this stuff tools will also become better, but that's wishful thinking.

ehhh. It can be many things, it is not game related. You can google it. I had antivirus delete some files on accident (this game's crack for example is falsely flagged), or maybe cyrilics in your path to game exe.

hm, unless I was the one who brought it... though where did I bring it from? Benson is the weird car, it is like the 1st one in some list or something like that, people have told me, hence why all follower npc in industrial spawn in bensons. But in TDMD... maybe previous guys followed me before which made benson spawn. Need to check full thing.

@@Tezur0 Okay, I did the research, meaning I took up TDMD and tried to drive away from the taxi drivers instead of immediately running them over. And when I did, they actually teleported a couple of times (the pink arrow abruptly changed direction), and when they zoomed in again, they were driving... something. And the third time I drove away, that something was indeed a Benson. I guess nobody saw that before, because first, you are not supposed to drive away, and second, what they pursue you in is actually rarely a Benson. Most of the times I got either the car I was driving before that, or some random stuff. RNGesus seems to love me much (I got an unmarked Z-Type once, and I do not play this game even remotely as much as you and Molotok).

I don't understand what problem you are referring to. This game does have fake antivirus triggers that removes exe or something else, but I'm not saying that whatever you are using is clean and doesn't have any viruses. I'm pretty sure there's a readme when you download mod. It's pretty much - put stuff into "data" folder and replace. As for gta 1 - your best bet would be finding GTA MAX PACK which is dosbox version of 1, l61, l69.

won't be until end of september unfortunately, I'll be going on another month-long break soon. However strats got really wild. Residential is going to be a whole lot faster (and possibly harder), as some new insane strats were found there.
