The video itself is confused. Americans did not gain independence from the British (1:37) just by writing a declaration. That war had to be fought and won and it wasn't until Sept 3rd, 1783 that the British signed The Treaty of Paris.

What are we independent of? We stole land, decimated a population of people as well as nature, enslaved Africans, who help build the country, the immigrants continued to build this country. Now controlled by corporations. Most Americans don’t have proper education or healthcare and need help. There is no true freedom.

But it was TECHNICALLY July 2nd. For me I celebrate Americas Independence Day on the ACTUAL day that it was meant to be celebrated on as Henry Lee and John Adams intended it to be.

I was interested in the utility / ancillary services like Administration (I've substantial experience in administration, customer service, IT etc), plus partaking in general upkeep of (a) camp, as I am not at University, but I do hold two degrees, one of which is a masters. I think that those types of roles are reserved for permanent members of camp staff as opposed to those from the UK looking for what would be in effect - for me, a busman's holiday.
