Can you help me understand why you connected the access point to the switch as opposed to the router? Why would you even need the switch ? It seems redundant as there are plenty of ports on the back of the router. Is there anything I'm missing with this setup? Seems like the router could be connected to both the AP and the laptop/network and modem all together eliminating the need for the switch entirely

Hi, I installed a 2-wire video intercom kit with display model DS-KH7300EY-WTE2. My customer complains because the DS-KH7300EY-WTE2 display makes a noise in the audio when turned on after a while and also when the monitor is on. off I attach video we replaced the monitor with another identical one but after 1 month the problem repeats itself, what could it be? Does this allow you to web browse any IPC's connected to that NVR remotely?. Virtual host has always been an issue with hik and dauhua without additional porting in the router for each camera.

How do we add a new AP to the existing setup? The IT guy left the company, and we want to add one more AP. He mentioned it's a mesh network, and it should automatically pick up the configuration from the master AP, but that's not happening. When I plug it into the switch, it's not adopting the configuration and is still on its default open SSID TPLINK OMADA AC3000

Great video! I have a couple of questions: Does the second Hikvision face recognition terminal not need network or power cables when wiring both terminals to a single door using a maglock? When adding a user to the first reader, will it automatically sync and add the user to the second one as well? How do the events from the second reader show up in HikCentral?
