Just curious, what was the purpose of this exercise? It looked like it started out as a pretty good running engine. A inquiring mind wants to know...🤠

@Rideon187 The question was posed that. How long could a motor run wide open without air? Or anything going over it and how long would it last? Well, the YD 100 and it's stock form would probably run forever, so pretty much entertainment. The cylinder didn't cost that much. All the other stuff.I had But it did get so hot that the head and the pistons started meltin about three minutes

Once you turn it right it will be better than the Ld cylinder. This should have made LD cylinder the same as the yd transports. itwill be in much better cylinder. As you were

@@KevinTodd Thanks...I'm sure it would last a little longer with moving air to cool it but still eventually overheat at 10K......I think with a fan/moving air/air scoop on cylinder head and cooler E85 properly tuned.....It might not overheat while making a bit more power.

It was hard to tell what failed! All I could tell is the plug came unscrewed! Looked like the threads were still in the head, And the Air screw fell out. I think it is still good for another round for sure! 👍

The head and piston started to melt as you could see... it wouldn't start back had some ring snagging ....not much and spark plug you could see it was red hot when it came out plus threads I stuck it back in the head for pictures but yes your right I could heli coil head for the plug I would have to weld intake on all those bolt are striped out...... sorry I don't have the time to worry with it thanks for watching brother.
