Norwegian knit and purl, except you're holding the left forefinger up, as opposed to down the Norwegian way; such a nice result when doing Norwegian knit and purl. I've learnt it on Arne & Carlos's channel. Really fun way to do the stitches❤. Thank you, the tension of your stitches look very uniform and beautiful, and I love the yarn you've used for the demonstration🙂

I like this beautiful color and the look of mittens but I am confused when you do increasing. The reason is because of 2 pointed needles. Could you please teach with 2 straight needles for 2 year to 3 years girl? I am planning to knit it whole set for my granddaughter who is 19 months now. I am very committed with 2 needles. Thanks

is it possible to make this without the dress? what would you suggest?
@iuliiacraft2 ай бұрын
Sure, you can skip the dress part and continue crocheting with the chosen colour taking all stitches by two loops (regular way) on the body and on the hands. Skip the round 23* on the hands and disregard instructions for the skirt. Hopefully it helps ☺️❤️

Thank you so much for your feedback! I’m really glad you liked the pattern for this bunny. I’d love to see your finished project when it’s done! I usually use single crochet for my plush toys because it creates a less dense fabric that works well for me. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions-I’d be happy to help!

Just wondering…: up till now I knitted my sweater in the round, stockinette stich, always « knit », no « purl ». If I make the intasia now, back and forth, will the tension be the same, won’t you see the difference in tension? Do you have experience in this? Xx Dona
@iuliiacraft3 ай бұрын
Yeah, my tension is usually affected. I switch my left needle to a one size smaller needle (interchangeable needles) for purl rows. It helps me to keep the same tension. -Iuliia

Hi Iluliia, this is very clear to me. But what to do if the design at the edge jumps a few stitches? (For example a big flower design) Do you use the same procedure? Tnx for your help! Dona (from Belgium)
@iuliiacraft3 ай бұрын
Hello from Canada 🍁 🇨🇦 That’s a great question. Frankly, I haven’t use intarsia for complicated patterns like the one you are describing. However, I used one more intarsia technique (different than the one in this video) when you use a loop from yarn to knit. I’m wondering if that technique would work. I’ll look for the link to the video I followed for it and send it to you! Good luck with your projects ☺️

Hi, I want to know how you sewed the white part of the face as you didn't show it. Did you use white yarn or the grey yarn to see on the head? Thanks
@iuliiacraft4 ай бұрын
Hi! Unfortunately, that assembly part is missing and I realized too late to record it again((( I used white cotton yarn to attach the face. The white face part is shaped like an oval before it was attached to the head even though it was crocheted like a circle. The upper face part is put on the 13th row from the top of the head. The face is 11 rows wide ( counting from top down to the base of the head), 15 stitches (from left to the right). Mostly, it is about shaping the white part and placing it on the head in a way that you like. It might be a few stitches/rows wider/narrower. Nose is placed on the second last row right in the middle of the oval-shaped white face. There are 6 stitches between eyes. Hopefully it helps! -Iuliia

Wow! You really butchered those cables 😂. Are you a tight knitter? The cables are suppose to be “memory free”… Suggestion: if your hands hurt when you use the shorties, try using the longer needle on the knitting hand and the shorter needle on the other.
@iuliiacraft5 ай бұрын
Thank you for the tips on combining short and long needles. I've also discovered that using a working needle that is 0.5 sizes smaller helps in maintaining consistent tension. Initially, I bought these short needles for small projects such as mittens, socks, and baby booties. While I don't consider myself a tight knitter, working on small knits with these needles can be a bit tricky. It's ironic, that they are meant for tiny projects, yet that's where I face challenges. However, I have no trouble knitting hats or sleeves with ChiaGoo short needles. In the end, I've decided to focus on using the magic loop technique instead of the short needles. Have a wonderful day!
