If you're in the East Bay check out Shinn Pond super close to Quarry Lakes. Also in the south bay los gatos creek is a fun place to walk the bank and cast

@@GaryzillaOutdoors which one do you have? I recently picked up that micro flex one by tacticalbassin. I like it so far. Pretty lightweight too so your arm doesnt hurt after throwing it all day lol. I think all rigged up it just weighs a little under an oz. I have mine rigged up with 1/8 heads and 3.5 in largo shads. Give it a try

I don't remember the brand name, but my A-Rig is also lightwire for flexability and it's designed for California because it has two false baits and 3 wires with hook-clips

Crappie can be difficult to locate during daytime as they suspend, but later afternoon throwing 2 inch keitchs is a way. I usually just walk and cast until I find them
