The seals are not God’s wrath. They are tribulations the church has been through. The rapture happens after the opening of the 6th seal. You clearly read about “the multitude in Heaven” coming from tribulation after the 6th seal. The 1st seal: The rider is Jesus on a White horse. He is given a crown 👑 and goes conquering and to conquer… to conquer what and where? To conquer the gentiles in the enemy’s territory. All the gentiles who previously worshipped false gods learn about the gospel and the True God. Jesus is building His Church. 2nd-4th seals: These are the gates of hell. They shall not prevail against the Church, the body of Christ. This has been ongoing for the past 2000 years. This is the tribulation of the Church. “I also say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of Hades will not overpower it.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭16‬:‭18‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬ The 6th seal is the rapture. The 7th seal opens up the wrath of God. The Church is not appointed to wrath. “and they *said to the mountains and to the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the presence of Him who sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb; for the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to stand?” ‭‭Revelation‬ ‭6‬:‭16‬-‭17‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬ The left behind say this after the rapture in the 6th seal because they know the wrath of God is about to start… The trumpets and the Bowls are the wrath of God. There will be a rapture. It was prophesied by Isaiah… “Come, my people, enter into your rooms And close your doors behind you; Hide for a little while Until indignation runs its course. For behold, the Lord is about to come out from His place To punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity; And the earth will reveal her bloodshed And will no longer cover her slain.” ‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭26‬:‭20‬-‭21‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬ We will be hidden in the Father’s House during God’s wrath. Jesus said: “In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself, that where I am, there you may be also.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭2‬-‭3‬ ‭NASB1995‬‬

Amazing. I was a member of Grace Church and love Pastor Eagan. He had a way of speaking to me like no one else. My family attended all of his Bible studies and bought and listened to all of his tapes! Do you know if his recordings are still available in digital format anywhere?

Hello, In the video, you bring up the Greek words petra/petros argument and I believe it’s important to note to the viewers that Jesus spoke Aramaic, and the word in the Aramaic is Kepha for Peter and Rock. There is no distinction in Aramaic in this verse, like you are suggesting. There is no distinction in this verse that says this word means a small stone and this word means boulder. Simply Jesus would have said, you are Kepha and upon this Kepha I will build my church.

Thank you for your comment. It may be very likely that these words were actually spoken in Aramaic, but the New Testament is recorded in Greek. And it is this written word which was inspired by the Holy Spirit. As such, the entirety of Christ’s earthly ministry, and that of Paul, John, Peter, et al, must be studied in Greek. The New Testament in Greek is the inspired Word of God.

@@jeffverdoorn Thanks for the response. I would say first, reading Matthew 16 and differentiating two different words doesn’t fit well with the context. For example, when God changes names it’s for a significant reason, and with your reading you are saying Jesus changed Simon’s name just to minimize or diminish him and point out that he is an insignificant stone. The result is “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah! You are an insignificant little pebble. Here are the keys to the kingdom of heaven!” Such an incongruous sequence of statements would have been not merely odd, but inexplicable. And second, an interesting point comes from a non Catholic scholar D.A Carson says the following and many other non-Catholic Biblical scholars agree. For example Carson says in The Expositor’s Bible Commentary. “Although it is true that petros and petra can mean “stone” and “rock” respectively in earlier Greek, the distinction is largely confined to poetry. Moreover the underlying Aramaic is in this case unquestionable; and most probably kepha was used in both clauses (“you are kepha” and “on this kepha”), since the word was used both for a name and for a “rock”. The Peshitta (written in Syriac, a language cognate with Aramaic) makes no distinction between the words in the two clauses. The Greek makes the distinction between petros and petra simply because it is trying to preserve the pun, and in Greek the feminine petra could not very well serve as a masculine name." Carson also says in the -Zondervan NIV Bible Commentry. “The word Peter petros, meaning “rock” (Gk 4377), is masculine, and in Jesus’ follow-up statement he uses the feminine word petra (Gk 4376). On the basis of this change, many have attempted to avoid identifying Peter as the rock on which Jesus builds his church. Yet if it were not for Protestant reactions against extremes of Roman Catholic interpretations, it is doubtful whether many would have taken “rock” to be anything or anyone other than Peter.”

How about ‘Peter, you now are a part of the rock, Jesus, who is the chief cornerstone.’ And you are now being built up into a body, a church, in which I will dwell. And how do you know if the words spoken weee actually “you are a small kepha” and on the “big kepha” (me) I will build my church. The answer is you don’t know what was said in Aramaic. We do know what was said in Greek. Maybe it’s not Protestants forcing an interpretation, maybe it’s the RCC necessity to make Peter the first Pope that is forcing a particular interpretation.

@@jeffverdoorn Thanks for responding. You keep mentioning that Matthew is written in Greek. The important thing here is the consensus of biblical scholars agree that the language of Jesus and his disciples was Aramaic. And behind the Greek text of Matt 16 there was an Aramaic conversation and in the conversation there would have been no distinction between the terms representing Petros and Petra. In addition to that, as noted, this distinction in Greek is largely confined to early poetry, and by the time of the Gospels this distinction didn’t exist. Also as a note here, I’m NOT trying to argue that Matthew was written in Aramaic but if I were, you might tell me that there is no evidence of the Aramaic original of Matthew‘s Gospel. A fun fact is this is not really much of an argument. It is an argument from silence and can be used just as effectively against the idea that the Gospel of Matthew was originally written in Greek, since there are likewise no extant originals of the Gospel in Greek. After all, the earliest manuscripts we have of any of the books of the New Testament are in Greek, yet not a single manuscript is an original. They’re all copies. From the mere fact of Greek manuscripts we can’t conclude that the originals must have been written in Greek. Yes, there may be a presumption of that, but not actually a proof. Again, that was a side note because I’m not trying to argue for Matthew being written in Aramaic. Alright a few questions for you at this point. 1)Do you believe that Jesus alone is the rock /foundation of the Church? 2)As noted earlier, you point out that Matthew was written in Greek. Okay, if someone got into a time machine to the year 46 AD. Would your point still be valid or true at that time? Would that be the most important thing to point out?

@@daveevans3276 you have no way of knowing that “no distinction was made”. We do know a distinction was made in the Greek, which is the inspired word of God by the Holy Spirit. We have no other manuscripts, so yes, we can safely conclude the originals (of all NT letters) were in Greek. And yea, Jesus is the foundation of the church and yea every word of the NT is important. This comment is in response to a blocked comment. The comment include attacks on me calling me a deceiver and an antichrist because I teach a pre-tribulation rapture. Without the attacks, I would have left up the post and responded. But because of the attacks, I deleted the comment and respond here: The term "rapture" is just a theological name. Like "trinity", which is not in the bible either. But the concept is. 1 Thess 4:17 says "we who are still alive and are left will CAUGHT UP together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air." The NT was written in Greek and the Greek work for "caught up" is "harpazo" which means 'to snatch out/away; to carry off'. The theological term we use for this event does have a Latin origin. But it doesn’t matter what you call it; the rapture, the harpazo, or the catching up. What matters is that the bible clearly describes a future event where the church is “caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air”. The whole Darby argument is just a red herring and has been shown to be false countless times, so I won’t even address it. In Acts 1, Christ did model His return, his Revelation 19/Matthew 24 return at the end of the tribulation. But He also modeled the ‘rapture’! In fact Revelation 12:5 calls this event of Christ going up to heaven His “rapture”! (The Greek ‘harpazo’). Jesus was raptured up to heaven and so will the church! I also agree in the resurrection of both those ‘dead in Christ’ and those who are ‘alive and remain’. Both groups do receive a resurrected (glorified) body and reign with Christ for 1000 years on earth. But they day this resurrection happens IS the rapture! And it occurs prior to the 7-year tribulation to come.

The churches who are focusing on being raptured are not preparing the people to endure persecution. I am not talking about the tribulation. If you are expecting to be raptured and not expecting persecution you will fall away. There will be a falling away before any rapture will happen (2 Thess. 2:3). They fall away because they are deceived preparing themselves only for rapture instead of preparing themselves to endure to the end. Don't be blindsided by unexpected persecution and fall away. (Matthew 13)."...But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended..." Revelation 12:11, "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony, and they LOVED NOT THEIR LIVES UNTO THE DEATH." I remember hearing people say that when the so called rapture happens that there will be crashing cars and airplanes because some of the drivers and pilots will suddenly be taken away and the cars and planes will crash because there will be no one left to control them. This scenario will not happen and cannot happen because when the church of Philadelphia is translated the people will be assembled in a 24 hour sunset to sunset Trumpets convocation. Just like the 120 were in Acts chapter 2 for the Feast of Weeks. They will not be out and about driving cars and flying airplanes. “Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord when He comes shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to meat, and will come forth and serve them.” Some people say that they are watching all the time but they overlook verse 38. “And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.” (Luke 12:37-38). Under normal circumstances people are sound asleep during the second and third watch. Therefore Luke 12 is not talking about watching in a figurative way. The LORD is talking of a literal watch. The fact of the matter is that there are appointed times in the scriptures for us to fulfill a literal watch. In fact, all of the appointed times of holy convocations (moedim) listed in Leviticus 23 are vigils. Each one of them are fulfilled by both an Old Testament and corresponding New Testament historical event. In other words they will be assembled together in a holy convocation and not be out and about driving cars and flying airplanes. ... ... ...

I suggest people read all of scripture Isaiah is about end times. Read Isaiah Ch 11 and look at verses 10-12 and Matthew 13:37-43 and Revelation 18:4 kjv. Point: two harvest, firstfruits Matthew 27:52-53 and Revelations 11:7-14 are those that came out of the great tribulation Revelation 7:14 kjv. The Second Harvest if his Wheat Harvest Matthew 13:24-30 and they are taken just as he tells us, the last day or end of the world Matthew 13:39-40, John 6:39-40, 44 & 54 and understand, the 7th trumpet is the Last Day, the call to assemble his people or great gathering. And he will call you as in Revelation 18:4 kjv. Remember, we all must face judgment, judgment comes after the last trump Revelation 11:15-19 kjv and Revelation 17:1, 18:10 and the call to come out of her 18:4 and Revelation 20:11-15 kjv. . Peace!

This guy is wrong. John was Elijah but John clearly said he was not the Elijah to come. Because he would have to die first and be reincarnated. Mathew 19:12 says God PREFERS same sex relationships for the sale of the kingdom of heaven. Mathew 19:12 🏳️‍🌈 Eunuchs that are born that way are transgender. 🏳️‍🌈 Eunuchs made that way by others were abused. 🏳️‍🌈 Those that choose to live like Eunuchs for the sake of the kingdom of heaven are bisexual people that choose partners of the same sex but opposite in gender. The new macaroni virus is spreading at an increasing rate and lock down's have already begun, a sister had a dream that we leave (Rapture/event) when the 2nd lock down happens, And a brother from "City on a hill" KZbin channel and a few other brothers and sisters have had dreams of the rapture happening before Christmas! I am watching and expecting for the rapture/event to happen during the next full moon on December 16th - 21st 2021. Many sisters and brothers (including me) have had either visions or dreams of the rapture happening during a full moon. December 16th is a Thursday, and a few brothers and sisters have had dreams and confirmations from God that the rapture will happen on a Thursday. December 16th is the 16th of Kislev on the Creator's full moon calendar. I had a dream a few months ago where I saw the date of the rapture engraved in a tombstone in Hebrew writing and all I could understand and remember was that the end date was the 16th of a month. Sister Darla from "God's gifts" KZbin channel also had a dream where she woke up yelling the 16th! December 16th/17th is: - 693 days (99 weeks) from when they first moved the Doomsday clock to "100 seconds to midnight" on January 23rd 2020 - 500 days from the large explosion in Beirut on August 4th 2020 - 350 days (50 weeks) from new years eve on December 31st 2020 - 175 days (25 weeks) from the Miami condo collapse on June 24th 2021 - 88 days from when La Palma volcano began erupting on September 19th 2021 I believe that 2021 is the year of the rapture because on my channel there WAS a video of a sister that had a very detailed vision of the rapture/event and she said that it will happen before 2022 (KZbin deleted it), she says that the rapture/event will be a bright white light lasting a few minutes and we will be transformed into our heavenly glorified bodies and brought up to heaven. I give full glory to God/Jesus for this comment because I have been praying everyday for God/Jesus to reveal this information to me so that I can share it with everyone. "If God/Jesus is everything, then we must be inside God/Jesus, and God/Jesus must be inside us" We will not experience any pain during the rapture/event. See you in heaven! Pray and repent of your sins to God/Jesus, not to be saved, but to show respect to God/Jesus and strengthen your relationship. I'm a Christian as well as an armature astronomer - I have waited for decades to hear this message - let's always remember that God created science and we will continue to advance our understanding of science as we apply new technologies to our exploration of God's created (out of nothing) universe. Let's also remember that 69% of creation as we know it is "dark energy", 26% "dark matter" and only 5% "ordinary matter" as represented by the current periodic chart (of the 5% or ordinary matter, 4% is free hydrogen and helium, and 0.5% Stars, 0.4% neutrinos and less than 0.1 % heavy metals) - how great is our God!!!
