I've been spendng so much money trying out "bang for your buck" products from kbeauty and spending more to heal from the break outs that the trial and error I've been doing, esp. Moisturizers. So when my eldest sister gave me a 150ml bottle la creme texture essentielle, I was so surprised by that cream because it didn't break me out, it fixed the texture of my skin and eliminated any dullness INSTANTANEOUSLY (like 3 days of using it). My skin barrier's all healed and I'm not oily anymore. It heals my skin so fast from hormonal breakouts... WITH pea size dots per part of my face. Like, I know for sure with long term use I can go out of the house with just sunscreen anymore. The price tag just hurts me 😭 Anyway, I plan on getting the la lotion essence de rose (it's the only one I can afford to buy regularly for now) in conjunction with that (while I still have some left) to really maximize La Creme. This is a great review video, Dior has convinced me already, but your reviews have really made me sure of my future investment. Do you know any cream that could rival La Creme (say, like a cream from Chanel or Guerlain?).

Hi there!! So much to unpack here, first off- I'm so happy you're loving the La Creme. It took me awhile to get used to how little you actually need! If you can spare it in your budget, I highly recommend the Le Sucre de Gommage scrub. Most people don't know this actually doubles as a mask. It gives your skin the most beautiful hard reset. And a little goes a long way so that container will last you forever. I'm still on the hunt for something that resembles the immediate, and long term effects of this line. And to be honest, I just haven't found something as good. Everything I've tried falls a little short one way or another. In terms of creams, maybe check out the Clarins Multi-Active Nuit. I've found this to be the closest to La creme without the full long term effects. The Guerlain day face cream is close too but also falls short. Funny enough I tried Chanel.. only the eye cream managed to impress me. But again, falls pretty short. Trying prestige has really set a high standard for me lol I just ordered the La Creme texture fine, I'm in LOVE with it. Will be doing an unboxing soon! 😘

@@giselleroberts If I really wanted it and I loved it I would keep it. If I am wavering then I return because I can always rebuy it if I want it later. I few times I returned something I was on the fence about and after walking out I realized I would not re purchase. My gut instincks are normally always right.

Loving your huge holiday Dior unboxing. The candle sounds interesting, I would love to get my nose on it in the store before purchasing. It must be nice to have a personal relationship with a SA. I generally order online from Dior, Macy's, or Nordstrom (the latter two during their Beauty sales). I purchased the same holiday palette, luminizer and addict lip case. I am not feeling the Chanel holiday collection.

It has a soft, woody scent to it and it’s really fragrant. It definitely doesn’t smell like pine lol and I highly encourage you to reach out to Hanane, she makes the whole shopping experience worth it 🤩 Bloomingdale’s has the beauty sales too but they also have a really good rewards program, so your money works a little harder for you too 😘

I put the shade super glow on my lids, it looks amazing 🤩. And on my lips I used Rouge Dior velvet lipstick in the shade 217 corolle topped with rouge coco gloss shade 724 😘 highly recommend the Natasha denona palette! It’s perfect for travel and has so many uses! Let me know if you have any other questions 😘

Did you try prestige eye cream? Or prestige eye serum is better ? Because the set comes with eye serum but the eye cream we need to buy alone

Hi there! Yes, unfortunately none of the sets (that I know of currently) include an eye cream. I was able to get a sample of the prestige eye cream from my S.A. Hanane. I used it for a long time with the prestige eye serum and I loved it! I was going to get the full size, but I was lucky enough to have a consultation with Andre, and he recommended I use L'Or De Vie eye cream instead. So I use that now with the prestige eye serum. If you don't have a Dior beauty counter near you, feel free to reach out to Hanane, she may be able to help you 😘But hands down, the eye serum is amazing, I love it! And I'll be buying another when mine runs out.

Hi there! I completely understand, the gifts and promo codes have been pretty disappointing lately. But now I’m wondering if it’s due to the new rewards program they are about to launch.. They raised the minimum spend to reach platinum status to $1,600 so I’m hoping they bring the exclusivity to match. If they don’t.. I may have to stick to only purchasing with my S.A but we’ll see. As soon as the full details drop, I’ll be making a full video on it. Stay tuned 😘

I highly recommend Queen of the Night as well, it sits differently on every one and it has a very unique scent. I can’t wait to catch up with the new season of Emily in Paris, I need to know what happens next 😂 let me know if you end up picking a fragrance, I’m thinking of picking up both.

Omg I’m so excited for you to receive your Venegia 21 🤩 I’d say Queen of the Night definitely pulls a little more feminine. But I highly recommend you try it if you can anyway, only because it really does sit differently on everyone. On me, it smells more masculine, due to the spices. But on others the florals pulled through more. The dry down is the best part, and if you liked Venegia 21 enough to buy it, I think you’ll really like Queen of the Night 😉

From what I’ve seen, you don’t get a gift if you renew the same level. But you do get the gifts if you drop or go up to a different level. I think if you renew platinum you should receive all their gifts. Because when it comes time to renew, it just encourages you not to spend to get the gifts 😂

And the welcome gift as well.. but they really dropped the ball with the platinum birthday gift in my opinion. But others seem to really like the notebook set.. my complaint about that, is that you can buy those notebooks on the website. As opposed to all the other gifts, making them feel more unique. Hopefully they switch it up again soon.

Hi there! The almond milk concentrate is one of my all time favorite products from L’Occitane 🤩 I’m not familiar with sol de Janeiro 62, but if it smell anything like the original bum bum cream.. then no. I personally don’t like the original bum bum cream smell at all. But the best way I can describe the almond milk concentrate is that it definitely smells like almonds with a light hint of vanilla. It’s a beautiful scent and it leaves the skin feeling amazing. If you don’t have a L’Occitane near by, I highly recommend going to Sephora! If they don’t have sample packets on hand, they can make you samples to try before you commit to buying😉

Of course! More than happy to help if I can 😉 and to answer your question, definitely not.. think of it more as an aromatherapy moment. You’ll smell the lotion as you’re applying it and working it into the skin, but once you’re done it quickly fades. It won’t interfere with any fragrances or sprays you may use afterwards. I hope you give it a try because I just know you’ll love it 🤩 I always go back to the almond collection, it’s just the best! Welcome to the family btw! 😘

I contemplated giving the book to my son because he’s an aspiring artist who likes the unlined pages but I decided I would just keep it for myself. I’m getting older and I find myself having to write down everything!!! 😮 🤦🏾♀️ I had to stop myself from buying those candles! I find that the scent doesn’t last as long as the candle does. I was also disappointed that they discontinued a lot of their body washes and lotions for the privee collection. I still want the lip maximizer in multiple colors. I have four so far and I really like them.

Thank you for the heads up on the candles, which ones did you get a chance to try? I wanted to pick up an amber nuit but it’s been sold out. I heard the Privee collection is getting a refresh, hopefully we’ll be able to try the body products soon. I miss the bar soaps! Now that I’m out of them, I really wish I picked up more. I love the lip maximizer as well! I need to pick up more shades so I can have in different bags and at work 😂 there’s been so many new make up launches as well! I’m thinking of picking up a few 🤩 I love the map of Paris print for the addict case 😍 and the blush duos look amazing. I’m waiting for a good gift with purchase to place an order

Hi Giselle, I missed you! I was drooling over your bucket bag and I looked in a box and I found mine! I plan on using it for hair supplies or when traveling for underwear and socks or something like that. I love the refillable fragrance carrier. I like the platinum tote which I use as a shopping bag, but I would have liked other products besides the lip balm and the Le Baume hand cream because they are both over hyped products in my opinion. (I'll give them to my daughter) I do however love my notebook! I received a smaller notebook in the past and I was about to purchase one for $100 so I was happy to get one as a gift. I do agree that the pencils are cheap and I would have liked pens instead. I'm sad that I wasn't able to get the makeup brushes with the case!!! I want to try the body products. I agree with you, the platinum bday gift is disappointing. Even the random gifts Dior sends me are better, e.g., the set with lip oil, pink blush, creme apricot nail cream, and a blue pouch! The platinum welcome gift is so much better, though! I just hit my 3rd platinum, I wonder if I'd receive it again 😂 I saw other accounts showing a vanity case as a platinum gift, I want to receive that one! Oh, and the handheld mirror! I look forward to your videos, can't wait for the next one ❤
