@2020mike1 I've done rear brakes. I couldn't film it because they're inboard, and I was blocking the camera

Nothing about the headlight made sense and no way to see what you had to disassemble to get it to work. Oh did it work? What did you actually replace. My led is not working and no videos really show how to address this issue. Is it a module or a whole new headlight?

@@greenhomekits9113 ballast under the headlight
@greenhomekits911327 күн бұрын
@@V12motorsports I wish it was shown if how to get to it. Plus there were 2 ballast under there as I seen it and one was for headlights and the other was for the led daytime running light.... I'm looking for more information on the daytime running light ballast. Looks like the headlight assembly should slide right out without taking the whole bumper off. Unknown if I should be replacing my ballast or the assembly? Led is out on one side. Thanks
@V12motorsports27 күн бұрын
@greenhomekits9113 if the running light is out the ballast is bad. You need to take off atleast one side of the bumper to get to the bolt behind it of the headlight out

Thank you. There was a clamp to secure that hose in place. I couldn't tell if the lower part of it was broken, but you might be able to spin it over to at least support the hose.

995 miles past due 🤣🤣🤣. Thanks for the video, i was curious how hard it was to remove the oil filter. It looks pretty accessible.

My man. Save yourself a ton of pain and time by using a pump. The little tube inside the filler hole is ready to mount an oil vac hose. Also spec for oil was updated to 0-20W. Fyi

Great video, 2 questions. 1) is your oil pan made of metal? 2) Is your thermostat housing metal as well as the coolant crossover pipe it connects to? thank you!

You are using not correct oil, if you get an oil consumption I will recommend to run Mobil 1 0w40 European car formula, it’s acceptable to your bmw, but if you want to damage your engine you can continue to run Mobil 1 advanced fuel economy

Why didnt you show how to disconnect the connectors on the backside of the radio??? I do however love how you are doing the most popular tutorials as your purchase of your 1991 Jaguar XJS is very common where the car doesn't come with all the needed paperwork/Security codes. Keep making these kinds of videos but please show more detail. Skipping over steps doesn't help anyone.

I didn't disconnect the radio. I just slid it out to get the numbers on the bottom

This video is so well needed. So many of these cars have changed hands of ownership and don't have the security radio cards anymore. It's so pathetic that Jaguar USA wouldn't help you. They are suppose to maintain these cars and provide assistance to their owners. They have the codes they just want you to pay the dealership some huge amount to have them unlock it. SMH.

God i remember when you could fill one of these cars for $25.00 back in the late 1980's. Times have changed so much. I hope you do more tutorials on how to fix things on your 1991 Jaguar XjS. They are really becoming popular now and most people don't know how to work on them properly. I've watched your oil change and brake pad replacement videos and they were excellent.

@@V12motorsports I think most people will get value out of seeing things like how to remove the door panels, changing the battery in the trunk and how to replace/repair the power antenna. Also things like how to replace the headlights if one burns out or the proper way(without damaging the underside) to jack up the car would also be helpful.
