Hmm... you better check with Elaine Hagenberg (the composer) on that. Her marking is Half = 80-88. We're at half = 84-88 throughout the entire performance. Maybe you like it slower than intended, which is fine, but we're following the composer's intentions. Take care and best wishes!

Most choirs usually end the song loud but this choir ended it in a unique mezo-fotey which is very impressive great job guys

as a sophomore in highschool, i’m in my schools acapella choir (the highest level of all three) and we’re just starting to learn this song. the second i heard it i wanted the solo. so here i am watching this video over and over learning the solo so i can perfect it and hopefully get it 😃 fingers crossed
