Beautiful look in this video

I think the packaging could have been a little more cohesive for the Monsters collection. The Dracula stuff is what's is throwing it off a bit. Maybe should have been black and white art with the lettering in red. But im super excited about the products themselves(the ones i bought, that is). The palette swatches looked amazing, and I love the color story for both. And I've been dying to buy a red mascara. Im excited for the face powder too, as i dont have any and could get it in a bundle

The deep Ilia palette looks good. That’s the one thing in this video I’m interested in since they don’t use synthetic wax or beeswax. At least I hope they continued to avoid that ingredient….

OK, so I have almost all of these except like 3 😅 No Lethal Cosmetics, No Clionadh, and no Jolie beauty 😂 but everything else I own 🤣 I think you nailed the autumn season palettes. I just mix and match, plus the Unearthly Cosmetics 4 Halloween palettes from a few years ago 🫶🏽🥰 are still hands down my favorites with Ace Beaute Flair and Lunar Beauty MoonSpell Vol. One.

I pulled out two chocolate themed Zoeva palettes. They’re versatile as they have the neutrals but also subtle gradients of orange and lavender. I miss that brand :( I’m also pulling out the Melt Rust palette. I bought in summer ( Sephora deep sale), but haven’t dug in and played yet. The Too Faced Mariale palette is perfect for for all seasons and it contains some yummy oranges and brown sugars. I’d actually vote this palette as the most underrated palette in my collection. The formula is surprisingly fantastic (one nasty glitter shade 😢 but I hate glitter, so…), but it came out during the glut of palette launches, TF does have a spotty formula rep, and I don’t even know who the influencer is so maybe lack of “brand” recognition to the makeup buying masses made this palette unpopular.

Hey Karen 👋🏽 BPerfect hasn’t come out with anything new. I used to think big palettes were overwhelming but now I can appreciate it. There’s a place & purpose for anything. 🍁

I really like the design of the Ilia face palette but I wouldn’t have called it Ethereal. It’s not giving ethereal. I love their mascara but that’s about the only product I like from their brand.

I appreciate you mentioning the difficulties in IP collabs. My last job the team I ran was responsible for getting all digital asset approvals for many collabs including Dr. Who, Lord of the Rings, Fallout, etc. There's just so much that goes into these kinds of approvals and often there's a timeline built into the contract for how soon the IP has to respond. I feel bad for Glamlite and I appreciate their transparency.

I wait until Black Friday to do a Nomad haul to get the most bang for my buck! I am let down by the MELT collab. The eyeshadow seems interesting but it’s not something I’d be excited to buy. I might get it if it goes 50%. Honestly I think it will all go 50% pretty fast. They have lost their way. They used to be the cool girl brand, but now I don’t know how long they will be able to stay afloat because there’s so much competition and their releases are often lackluster.

After she explained some of the things she struggled with for the collection on a recent live on tt I feel bad for glamlite. Too many hoops..melt just launched w no warning. It looks cool but not necessarily unique or a must have.

Melt makes me so sad - I would love to know what is going on behind the scenes there. I feel like they’ve had an identity crisis the past two years and instead of doing what they do well they keep releasing these random shotgun products that seem off brand and arbitrary. Sigh…
