It’s hard to believe that these boys are from California when you’d think that they grew up in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Definitely bringing back the Hatfields and the McCoys. A family feud that still exists today. .

I think he’s done a lot of damage to his voice by singing through his throat and nasal pathways. This is definitely a reason why you should always warm up your voice and properly train it so you don’t end up ruining it.

I know this video is about Rival Sons and they're completely badass. But when I see 97.1 The Eagle, I immediately am taken back to those longer drives home from work listening to Russ Martin. Miss him so much.

Best version of this song by far. 100% authentic- great playing- spot on and super soulful singing. I do hope he can get off the drugs. If not, that never seems to end well. I like to think he is just tired from touring but I've been in bands, play guitar too and I know that look all too well. I never go near drugs- not even aspirin. Look what just happened to the very talented Taylor Hawkins from Foo Fighters. Taylor looked and sounded much better than this guy in a recent interview- found dead with 10 different substances in his blood. Just didn't wake up. For gods sake man, just get off that junk. We need your voice- so few authentic singers left after Cornell and others (almost all are taken out by damn drugs.)
