VERY sketchy instructions. 1) You're not explaining "What does 'reset' actually mean in this situation (recalibration? reset to a hard number? other?) and you're not explaining why or why not a person should or should not reset this. and 2) Multiple sources elsewhere state that you need to drive the car for 20-30 minutes immediately after holding the reset button, as an important final part of the reset procedure. I'm not impressed with your knowledge.

Awesome video sir! I really appreciate the way you walk us through the operation. I love the isolated views (key moments) you point out too. You make that look easy but I'm sure it's due to your experience with motor vehicles. Keep up the good work. Questions: how does one bleed the break system if the brake pedal bottoms out on the floorboard? Do you have a video of that too Huu N Wheels? Is the rear brakes done the same way as the front brakes? Can you look at the rotors and tell anything about their condition when doing the pads? Thx 4 everything sir.
@huunwheels737815 күн бұрын
Thanks Phil. The rear one is a little different because it has an electronic parking brake. There are more steps to put the vehicle in service mode or remove the actuator to compress the brake piston back.

Normally, brake bleed doesn't need it if just replace the brake pads. Currently, I haven't gotten a chance to video that. I'll do when I get a chance to : )

I'm curious where the shock pad is if thats your "fall safety" a solid rope like that by itself isn't shock rated. You will break something when you fall. And it won't be good. Get actual fall protection like a Self retracting lanyard. Gives you a max 2-6 foot fall distance instead of whatever that is. And you have a 10 foot work area from where you have it hooked off.

Thanks a lot for this great video. One question is we do not have the car lift . Do have Jack and Jack stand . Will it be ok to work on that? Saw some people use a floor jack to support the engine when taking off the engine (what do u call it), do I need to do that? Again thanks a million from Texas.
@huunwheels737818 күн бұрын
@@congzhi5093 hi there. A jack can be used to raise the car up and make sure to use jack stands to support after raising up for safety. * Block the wheels and engage the parking brake to prevent the vehicle moving. * The engine can be supported with the floor jack temporarily after the side engine mount was removed. Or The remaining engine mounts could hold up the engine just fine. * There's something called engine support or engine hanger that can be installed across the engine bay , but don't really need it for timing belt changing. Hope that is helpful and work safe, Cong! Good luck 👍

@@myrlaparungao7344 hey man, it's kind of similar. Removing the two trims, 2 covers on the rears and reuse it for installation. The two long trims need to be cut front portion and reused for installation about 17" or 27", not exactly which one on top my mind, but it's easy to figure, you can kind of pre-measure before cutting when having the rails on temporarily. Measure the trim, so it tuck under the rail slightly, so the rail cover over the trim. Hope that helps man.

Because of vehicle age, Sometime, there was an oil seep out of the crank pulley seal. Sometime, there was an oil seep on top of engine, like valve cover gasket and travel down engine bottom parts. Great Video! Very informative. I actually had the same thing happened to my 24' rdx a month ago. Acura suggested I take it to a body shop since the theives damage the area around the door handle badly also. Body shop replaced my door and my key lock cylinder. However, the issue Im experiencing now is my memory seat is no longer working and my door does not retract when I enter or exit the car. But most importantly, my infotainment/radio system stays on even after I shut down the car and exit the vehicle. I've been having to unplug the negative terminal from the battery to turn it off. Even with the broken key lock cylinder evrybtimg still worked fine, If you have any thoughts or suggestions as to what may of happend or why this is happening I would greatly appreciate it. My cat is 7 months old!

Hi Moe, there could have been some type of shorts after repairs that sent wrong signal to vehicle control system. You may have to take back to the repair shop or the dealer to have system check out or reset the On Board Computers. The Infotainment is like a main control of these newer vehicle.
