I think you'll agree that a pantry that cannot be used while cooking or using the sink, and an outdoor shower that will be a sauna on hot days or in humid climates, is not great design...

The fact that there’s no price on the website already ruins the whole experience. Details to get a brochure? It’s not 2001 any more.

Really good.. came across this and I think this one has moved to the top of our shortlist.. what do you have on setting up a proper wired/wifi network? Starlink + wifi/lan router (like Teltonika) + bridged wifi (as have separate wifi/lan in the cruiser). Is there also something that you can do to reduce the tare weights as well?
@RhinomaxRD
@RhinomaxRD Жыл бұрын
Wifi and Starlink options are available on all our campers. The tare weight on this camper is around 300kg - 500kg lighter that equivalent caravans of the same size but if you contact us we are happy to discuss options for reducing the weight.

Hi, I love the idea. As a single traveler, this is all I need. I noticed it’s not listed on your website and after a bit of hunting I found a reference to specialist orders only. Any chance the specifications could be on the website or included in the KZbin description? Perhaps, in future Videos a slide on the screen for 10 seconds listing all the specs for those that want to know and I’ll just pause the video. Great presentation, clear and precise to the point without a lot of the waffle or hyped up sales pitch.

@RhinomaxCampers1
@RhinomaxCampers1 Жыл бұрын
Hi Steve, while it is a slight compromise, the drawer fills what would otherwise be wasted space. I spoke to our engineers and they replied 'ask if they would like a drawer there or no drawer there'. Plenty of our customers have this kitchen design and have no problems remembering to take things out before hand and/or do not place items imperative to cooking in that drawer if they think they will forget. At prep stage, if you haven't started cooking, then of course you can still access it. Cheers, Campbell. 🙂

Hi Campbell, we have a Defender & the Starlink RV. Need more info on the mount please? Didn't see any power leads when you removed the dish from the mount. How is this setup & can we purchase it for retrofit? Thanks Cazz
@RhinomaxCampers1
@RhinomaxCampers1 Жыл бұрын
Hi Cazz, I remember your Defender well! 🙂 I'm fairly sure it can be retro-fitted, best thing would be to send an email through to Andy, at [email protected], and explain in that email as you have here + mention this video & he'll be able to let you what that would involve. We had disconnected the cords before the video so we could show how the dish connects and disconnect to the mount itself. I believe on this model they have a port in their wall to pass the cable through and then dust plug for when they're travelling. 🦏🛰 Cheers, Campbell. 🙂

@RhinomaxCampers1
@RhinomaxCampers1 Жыл бұрын
@@jonnythunder92 You're welcome, - we probably could, we run 2x 4.5kg gas bottles as everything is very efficient in the camper and pretty much the only thing relying on gas in our vans currently is the outdoor cooker. Our customers don't seem to miss having 9kg bottles, if that feedback changed then it might be something we'd consider. Cheers, Campbell.

Hi Owen, thank you for your comment! We fit the Ark 500 jockey wheel as standard on our smaller models and haven't found sinking into the ground to be an issue. We do have the option to upgrade the jockey wheel to the Ark XO 750 if our customers wish. The Ark XO 750 is standard on our 16ft & 18.5ft hybrids. Cheers, Campbell.

no ensuite!! the Armor AX13 has an ensuite at half the price
@RhinomaxCampers1
@RhinomaxCampers1 Жыл бұрын
Hi Jason, there is a reason for the difference in pricing. Our entire range is proudly hand built here in Australia and engineered to tackle the harsh terrain and climate while providing our customers with a first class touring experience. As for the internal ensuite, our 15ft Defender Hybrid Camper is the smallest Hybrid we are willing to put an internal ensuite in. Again, we believe in providing our customers with a first class travel experience and in our opinion it is too much of a compromise 1: because of the size of the internal ensuite (often cramped) and 2: because of the room it takes up internally, which is already at a premium given the size of the van. All the best with the Armor AX13 - hope this helps! Cheers, Campbell.

@@RhinomaxCampers1 thanks for your reply, we will be travelling with a couple who have a 2 year old 14ft Rhinomax which they love, it will be interesting to see the both side by side and see if we need to upgrade after doing the Tanami and the haul road to Bronzewing gold mine which is an absolute bone shaker, much worse than the Gibb or Ningaloo track, I do love the Rhinomax campers they are definitely up my ally as far as perfect build quality goes.

@RhinomaxCampers1
@RhinomaxCampers1 2 жыл бұрын
Hi Gareth, thank you for your feedback and thank you for your interest in our hybrid campers. Unfortunately bringing the awning further forward would create too much of an overhang and leave it prone to being caught on branches on tight tracks. We do have an option for a kitchen end extension for the awning which provides shelter. Cheers, Campbell.

The outside awning is flapping about in the lightest of winds. You can't apply antiflappers to it and the frame for it is too light.

Hi there, we provide what is called an 'Anti-flap kit' that locates on the side of the awning when extended to prevent it from flapping and provide some extra support. No problems at all! Cheers, Campbell.
