I really like the way that head unit looks. I've got two e12's in my car and for the price they are really decent and can take a beating. The e series are a bit underrated and tend to be overlooked but they are great for a daily driver. These single cab setups usually beat the f down when done right. Anyways, appreciate the video bro and Keep on bumpin.

There’s a reason subs are labeled 2 & 4 ohms !!! If you want a 2ohm load get a 2ohm sub and be sure amps 1/2 ohm stable n if u run a 4 ohm sub down to a 2/1 ohm load ur gonna over power n end up blowing ur subs!!!

Also about the alternator whine, it comes from multiple places, but when u mentioned not bundling it up, that’s fine but it’s when u run power along rca cables u get interference because of different factors of signals as they’re powered up

Loose the extension on the drill or atleast cover the speaker surround with hand otherwise you'll learn quick how a drill can ruin a day quick.. a hand can heal a sub surround cant unless you repair it

Need a better ground location and scrap all the paint off before placing the ground n run that power cable on the driver side or shorten the wire.....and for tuning never use any bass boost or subsonic boost💯 just play a 40hz test tone with a flat eq on the head unit and Lpf on the amp set to 80hz and 70-75% on the radios volume and start messing with the gain and you'll hear it when it starts to bottoming out the subs aka clipping them you'll think me later and leave bass boost off and loudness on the amp and radio real bass heads don't use that bs

Nice starter system. You chose good products all the way around. I warn you though....being a bass head is highly addicting. Alot of fun though. Starting out small and inexpensive is the way to go. In the next few years slowly upgrade a little at a time. Don't rush anything, take the time to read up and learn about the setup and how stuff works and what works best. Its a money pit but you get what you pay for. Next thing you know you will have a SUV with 4 Zv.6 15's on a salt8. Upgrading your electrical in your ride is important. Have fun my friend. Myself and other older bass heads can help you with questions. You can never go wrong with Sundown or DC Audio.

This is an amazing example of what not to do. First of all never run your power wire next to your Rca's that will cause road noise aka "high pitch wine" as you accelerate to start with. Also always use your remote wire off of the radio when doing a smaller single amp install.

While running RCA's next to power "can" introduce noise, doesn't mean it will. The only downside to running the remote wire how they did is the amps will be on with the ignition and not the head unit but how often will he be driving without the radio on? I think they did a fine job for a DIY install, and they had the understanding of how to bypass the broken pin on the head unit to accomplish their goal. For a prefab & budget gear build you guys did great. Keeping the power and ground as short as possible is ideal but you used good wire with minimal resistance so you should be good. Personally, I would've installed the ground somewhere else, sanding somewhere on the frame or body and having a nice clean/flat surface for the ring terminal to touch up against. The way it is, your current capacity is limited by the conductivity of the nuts and stud you used to secure it. That said, your amp isn't high current draw so it's unlikely you'll see much/if any improvement anyway.
