Yes please talk about Bravely. I am curious to hear your thoughts about it. As far as Fate Be Changed goes, it was fun and cute but didn't hold my attention that well. For a novel about the characters from Brave, I felt it lacked adventure and excitement. I agree that the book would have been way better if Merida had gone full bear and Elinor had to find a way to save her or something. This one is like a 2.5-3 star read for me. Not my favorite, but not the worst one. I just had higher expectations for it

From a pitch perspective, an anime convention might be an interesting place to see how your work does. A friend's given me a spot at his table the last few times to have books, but knowing the audience of the venue and how your work fits into the audience of the venue matters. Listening to you talk about the neighboring tables made me wonder what genre they were selling. I think the combination of Tower of Idun Series, Kuro Kenshin, and Cherry on Top are three parts of the same spectrum. All in the Enjoys YA and anime audience. Cherry on top being the shoujo side that also would vibe with Sparrow's part of Idun more, while Kuro Kenshin and Rome's side of the Idun series would vibe. I think your stuff has great crossover by voice and style, at least IMO I saw the anime inspirations mixed with western fantasy elements in the idun books. Kind of made me think of stuff like Kyou Kara Maoh in terms of action mixed with politics mixed with slice of life. Anyway, I think you have a clear voice between your works, finding how unique stuff fits into the market and identifying how to reach the target readership is the hardest thing IMO and even harder because you have to see what also doesn't work based on experience when it's a little different than what's easily being passed around social media (if that makes sense. I get it, I'm in that bunch too lol).

Kamsahabnida says I might have yelled at you through the screen, but I don't recall doing anything of the sort. :D The waterpark looks like a lot of fun. I haven't been to one since 2002 when my Mom took me there and to Universal as an apology for moving us down here to Hell. I hate FL, but I don't regret the times with my parents. Sorry, off topic. I personally would really like to see a 101 Dalmatians story out of the twisted tales! Not only because I’d really liked to explore the time period in which that story is set in (60s/70s London) But also because I could imagine the crux of the story being like “what if Anita had worked for Cruella DeVille?” And it’s this little story of Anita being a fashion designer (like in the movies!) for Cruella and meeting Roger for the first time, who helps change her worldview about the ethics of her boss and how she shouldn’t simply be complacent just because things are looking rough, but to truly take a stand on your beliefs and make the most of a situation! The dogs could probably be a symbol of their relationship growing as first Roger is the only one with a dog, and over time Anita is tempted to get one herself, and that’s when the pair come together and the dogs do too! We could even have switches of POV to Pongo and Perdita (Pongo meeting Anita and his thoughts on her, Perdita repeatedly seeing the same woman pass by the pet shop and hoping to be her pet) The series is already starting to go through the dark age movies like Sword in the Stone and Robin Hood, make it happen, Disney!

Honestly, as far as future Twisted Tales go, I don't have too many requests. They kind of covered all of my favorites already. I'm glad you liked Straight on Til Morning! It was my favorite for a long time and currently ranks 3rd on my list

🍴The Little Mermaid is my second favorite Disney movie of all time!!! I love the story and the music and all of it! I agree with all you said about Part of Your World and I really like it. For me, it didn't rank in my top 5 only because there are others I like better. It was still SOOOO good!

I might be biased since I love Frozen so much but I did like this book, not as much as all the other frozen universe books but it was still enjoyable imo

This book was my favorite for a long time because Beauty and the Beast is my favorite movie of all time! I also was super intrigued by the mystery surrounding Alaric Potts and what happened to Les Charmantes. The last 50 pages are chilling and definitely has a mystery/thriller vibe about it. I found Belle to be pretty true to her character for the most part, but her constant abandonment complex got annoying and I felt she was downright mean to the beast at some points. This book is still in my top 5. I just have others I like better

This book is not my favorite, but it's by no means a terrible book. I agree that the action is great and I love the parallels between people in Kexford and Wonderland citizens and I love the romance between Alice and Katz. However, the nonsense makes it hard to follow for me and I absolutely HATE how political the book is when Alice is in Kexford. I know that it serves a purpose as a foil to Wonderland but I just really dislike politics in fictional books. I used to rank this book closer to the bottom of my own personal list but it has moved up a few slots recently. I am interested to hear your thoughts on As Old As Time. It was the first Twisted Tale I ever read and was my favorite for a long time but others have become my favourites since then. Beauty and the Beast is my all time favorite movie though. I know you said you just got Fate Be Changed and I would love to hear your thoughts on that one too. Do you have Set in Stone and Suddenly Super? Will you be reviewing those?

I agree on some points. Gina is so minor that she doesn't need to be there and her mother is more important than her. I disliked this book a lot previously because I found the parts with Brendan and Daniella annoying. I understand the point of it but also, not necessary for the actual story. The parts that focus on Rapunzel and her journey are awesome. Also, I thought Rapunzel and Eugene's relationship weird in this one. Another KZbinr mentioned in their thoughts that Rapunzel and Eugene's relationship was like friends to lovers too quickly and it felt kind of strained and I agree with that. This book is not bad and I enjoyed it a lot more the last time I read it, but definitely not my favourite and definitely not my favourite of Liz Braswell's books.
