This summer I was in Suessical JR in this High School, those dresses were reused, Hortons hat, top, vest, and tie was reused. Same with the Wickershams vest! This was so fun!

The actor playing Captain Smith sounds like Chuck Wagner, former Ringling Bros. Blue Unit ringmaster

I have to say, thag for a highschool, the lead is incredible. She has the accent down, the little sudtelties that made Julia so good. Really, really well done.

Fun to see this scene, this number is sometimes cut but it works both as a tension builder and comic relief (and to show off the Beadle’s pipes). This is pretty good. Ashley Braxton is working hard here to make sure the audience gets the humor and Mrs. Lovett’s growing exasperation. Gary Butler is nailing the Beadle’s self absorbed attitude and while he mght not have the higher notes of other Beadles, he has a fine voice that completely works for these songs. The every dayness of this scene os a nice contrast to the horror that comes before and after.

You missed the mark on the witch's entrance and exit the effect needs to go off when she enter and exits not before...the point is to make her disappear.

I don’t know why, but why am I getting Anthony Warlow vibes from this kid? (Also, fun fact, Warlow himself played Sweeney a few years back in an Australian production). He seriously looks like he could be his son, and he certainly doesn’t look or sound 17. He sounds like a grown man!

Oh my gosh, this is amazing! The smooth transition between notes in both of Anthony and Johanna's actors' voices is incredible. Definitely my favorite rendition of the song!

Sweeney's performance broke my heart! It was so well done, everything about his vocals and acting really give you the feeling he loved his wife and was shocked and morbidly regretful that he lost her at his own hands. There's something so final and heartwrenching about how Sweeney says "barber" the first time he sings again "there was...a barber and his wife"...then the way he holds her is so much more of a companionly love than other Sweeneys that I've seen, ugh...brb crying

Vocally he almost killed it. Acting wise... Meh. He rushed a lot of the very poignant parts, but for his first time it's pretty great

Everyone's talking about Sweeney's actor and Mrs. Lovett's actress, but can we talk about Toby's actor? Good Lord, the switches he makes in the way he talks and the way he uses the straight razor prop... You almost expect him to start cackling maniacally somewhere while he talks.

Excellent!! This guy really nails this song. Beautiful voice with great choices of where to go soft and where to go with power. I really think this guy's got serious talent. You really feel the sense of madness and focus on revenge. He's so mesmerized by his new found blade. I love how Mrs. Lovette is so singularly focused on herself that she doesn't even notice his descent into madness...Great job. Let us know what you are doing now guys, post us a video!
