do you have amount of yarn and patterns listed anywhere for all your tutorial styles? I'm wanting to start my first one but don't know how much yarn to purchase for each pattern and size. Thanks!
@PassionKnitCozy5 күн бұрын
It really varies depending on how tight you knit and the size and pattern. There really is only estimates on sizes per pattern.

Best tutorial I've watched! I can knit with needles (barely) and I understand exactly 2 stitches...the knit and purl. I am going to make a throw but would like to start on the long side so that the rows are vertical rather than horizontal. I'm just going to wing it and knit to size. Just one question: is it better to work with even numbers of stitches or odd? Does it make a difference? Thanks again! I've subscribed and am looking forward to watching more of your videos!

So if I wanted to make a 50” wide blanket, what amount of cast ons do you recommend. Having a hard time with the logic in determining the cast on amount for different sizes in hand knitting. I’m a regular knitter, go off determinations of the pattern supplied.
@PassionKnitCozy9 күн бұрын
It’s really trial and error on sizing. Use a measuring tape and start with 35 loops. You may need more everyone’s stitch varies.

How many stitches would a 50” blanket need? Thanks
@PassionKnitCozy9 күн бұрын
Everyone’s tension varies I would try in the mid 30’s to start. After 4- 5 rows measure with a tape measure. It will grow a couple more inches as you knit more.

Hi Brenda I just seen your video again and I attempted to make the Snowman the only problem I ran into was on the bottom when you sew it up you said not to pull too tight I snapped it the first time we did it and then snapped it again. How can I close it without taking a whole thing apart again😊
@PassionKnitCozyАй бұрын
You can always burn on more to close. Find that in my help for chunky hand knit.
@maryannjackson8114Ай бұрын
@PassionKnitCozy thank you I ended up doing loops on the bottom knit a row n closed it. Could my foundation chain be to tight thats why it snapped? I had a hole
@PassionKnitCozyАй бұрын
@@maryannjackson8114 some yarn is more brittle. Especially white for some reason. So you need to make sure you’re going in the correct direction for it to close smoother.
