Its called a draw-knife, do a search for how they are used for making chairs and stuff Can be fixed by a professional by grinding the chip out and maybe weld the crack

That’s actually for small brush. It cuts grass just the same. Their intended purpose is for brush though.

What type of brush are you using? And what do you use for cleanup?

Just a cheap bristle brush. 4 inch for decks, any size really works. Paint thinner or lacquer works for cleaning.
