I'm wondering and waiting for nascar to race at road altanta. Some nascar drivers did a late model race there decades ago. Darrell waltrip was in that race. It might be on you tube.

AD : "This car was built for road racing". Sad but true. I've yet to hear why though. In it's heyday there was one single road course. The sport flourished "because" it was different than other sports.🙄 It would take a Saudi Prince to buy it out and make it great again.

I remember when the young people in their go carts would come (about once a year) to our NASCAR sanctioned track in Alberta Canada. For us it was a tight 1/4 mile D-ring. For them it was like Daytona. They were always so excited to be racing on a big wide 1/4 track. That was o cool and we always made them welcome. I’m looking forward today’s race. 👍🍁

Think the logistics of bringing NASCAR overseas would be a nightmare. Getting all the equipment associated with it would be an extremely expensive prospect for the companies. Who would pay for it? Would the cost be reflected in the cost of tickets?
