Please at least bite the sandwich and tell me how it is!!!!

Hey @FoleyDyson-f1p, thanks for watching! The sandwiches were absolutely delicious! We took some video of us tucking into them but, in the end, we decided to spare viewers the sight of juices running down our chins 😂 Though, in future, we will try to be sure and include taste reviews in food related videos. Thank you for your input!

This place was great for sandwiches then for some strange reason it shut down for a while. I get the video all cute and warm but let's cut to the brass tax. Show how the sandwiches are made. Someone making a sandwich ect. Show the meats cheeses condiments. Show your sandwiches cut so people can see what they will get not bread on a plate. Hope you do well but can't just be all talk and no show.

Thank you for watching! We heard the same thing, that they shut down for a bit, but they seem to have reopened under new management/ownership which we are very excited about! We added a link below to their new Facebook page where you can find an updated menu, updated hours, and some close-ups of their yummy sandwiches. facebook.com/profile.php?id=61559870721564

Great information. Thanks for posting. This will help a lot of people for sure. I live in songbird creek and usually bounce off that wall like a pinball. You guys make it look easy. I wish they didn’t have to put that center concrete support in. Seems like there could be a better way for the boaters
@peahillteamrealtorslakegaston Жыл бұрын
Hey Jason! Thanks for watching! Yes, it would definitely be much easier to get through there without the center support. We made it through this time without too much trouble, but like most folks, we have definitely bumped the side several times in the past. We have found that if the water is being pulled out harder than normal by the damn gates being open, that can also have an effect on how difficult it is to get boats through smaller culverts without bumping the side. Definitely thankful the culverts are there though. It really helps make the lake more accessible and it's nice to enjoy the calmer waters behind the culverts.

The culverts were built to accommodate boats. Boats in 1960's were smaller.

Great job guys. I remember when it was a hardware store and they had nails in the bucket up where the car register is now. It’s great place to eat when you are in Warrenton. I like the wash tub which is their chicken salad sandwich.
@peahillteamrealtorslakegaston3 жыл бұрын
Patrick, that's so cool! In your opinion, does the inside of the buidling look really different since its days as a hardware store or have they kept things really similar? Also, we will definitly have to take your advice give the Washtub sandwich a try next time we are in for lunch.

@@peahillteamrealtorslakegaston From what I remember, everything looks the same as the original hardware store. Those are the original shelves, floors, and walls of the original hardware store.

Been coming to LKG since 1984 and now I get to see my daughter experiencing my same adventures with her friends (she is 13). My favorite thing to do is “cove squatt” by pulling the boat out, anchoring and chilling all day in the water (even if it is right off our dock). I also love watching the girls tube and jet ski likely friends and I used to. Love Pea Hill Creek!! #peahillteamgiveaway

Thanks for the video. I've been looking for mountain biking trails around the lake. Are there any others nearby?
@peahillteamrealtorslakegaston3 жыл бұрын
Hello Arh! Thanks for checking out our video! So sorry it took us so long to get back you! If you're willing to drive another 30 min from Buck Springs, there are some trails at Medoc Mt. State Park. We personally have never biked them but Dave and Heidi, the owners of Lake Gaston Outfitters, often put together meet-up groups and head down to Medoc Mt. If you have a chance to check out the trails down there we'd love to hear what your take is on them. Have a great day!
