Instagram I see is all about posting stories and reels. The reels can be as short as 10 seconds. And you don’t even have to talk in them. Many people just put text on them overlapping footage of what you are making or whatever day to day.

Thank you so much for your sweet comment! I wish you a great 2025 as well 🤭 Taxes are pretty brutal in Germany as well but there’s an exception for small businesses up until a certain gross profit (22.000€) from paying taxes which has made it possible for me to be profitable 👀

Thank you so much for this 🤭 I sometimes get a little self conscious about it 😅 I did spent an exchange year in the US when I was 16 so that definitely helped my English quite a lot. Sometimes I still cringe at some of the mistakes I make during filming since I have to rewatch everything when editing 😅😅

Hi Veronika, all the best in the New Year! I was following along your journey this year, inspired by your dedication and courage to start smt new. I also finally started my youtube channel for children and took my crochet project outside my house and innitiate a charity event in my office for Saint Nicolas Day, it went amazing, lots of people made donations and as a thank you they all received small crochet items from me. So to all of you out there, just go for it, go chaise your dream this year. Take little steps, be patient with yourself, go for sustainable growth, and I believe you will get where you need to go. Happy New Year! Great idea for the chicks. Whose pattern? Is it ackyplushies? I’ve been doing baby chickens in eggs, but I’d like to add these. Thanks. Can I also ask you how you tell people to wash their plushies? I didn’t know that you could.

And thank you for all the comments and support 😉 the mini chicks are by ackyplushies as you guessed but instead of the frog hat I offer different colored regular hats… For the washing instructions I tell them to only wash by hand or with the wool/delicates program of the washing machine. Then I also tell them not to machine dry and not to use any harsh chemicals 😅

Thank you! I can’t recommend the cat pattern enough! People love this one at markets 🤭 it’s by bigbebez on Etsy. Tbh it’s kinda tricky to figure out the first time but it’s definitely worth it 🙌🏼

That wasn’t nice of them to let people know about their booths especially that a lot of booths were different in construction. You should take a portable heat source of some kind and maybe some type of mat that blocks the cold from coming up through the ground even if it is just cardboard. I’m in Australia and we’re sub-tropical so can’t even imagine the weather there, but omgosh it looks so beautiful. Yes I would love to hear about your markets through this year, what you have learned and what you’d like to do differently. I remember when you used a tent for the first time and trying to set it up at your place. Congrats on completely selling out and was so good you had the other stock to make your booth still look shopable. I have learned in December that it is good to do bulk prepping during off times so stock is still available to us if it runs out

That market Organisation was such a mess 😅 Sadly all of the Christmas markets I attended this year specifically forbid any electrical heaters because of the fire hazard 🫣 so I can only dress as warm as possible and possibly look into getting a mat like the one you suggested! I’ll definitely make a little recap and market tips video soon ☺️

Im glad you returned, it is not good for the market to have empty stalls. You had lots left to look at for shoppers. I did the same thing at my last 3 day, I returned with only a few items and it was freezing out, so tempting not to show for sure.

That Krampus looks scary! I never heard of it until today😂. So glad you sold lots of cards as they were so pretty and of course unique artwork. Now you know for sure how much you will need for next years Christmas markets! That booth was really odd? But it all worked out in the end.

Yeah the Krampus are a really old tradition here (from way before celebrating Christmas was a thing 😅) they basically run around and look scary and might chase a couple of people but they’re pretty harmless overall 👀 I’ve definitely learned so much from my first year of doing markets and will definitely start prepping sooner next year 😅

Das nenn ich doch mal ein guten letzen Markt für dieses Jahr auch wenn es ein bissl chaotisch war am Anfang. Bin schon gespannt was das nächste Jahr so für dich bringt😊😊 Super das die Karten und schlüsselbänder so gut gelaufen sind das freut mich. Kommt bei dir das Christkind oder der Weihnachtsmann das würde mich interessieren da ich es immer sehr spannend finde bei wem was kommt am Heiligabend? I think you might sell more home decor items if you present some of them the way they are supposed to be used: put candles in the candle holders, nuts or chocolates in the bowls etc. They are actually very cute.
