Hi Russ, I was wandering if I can set up my zero distance say 10m at home, then latter 30m down the farm, do I still have to take the phone with me, I will leave all my ballistic data the same and just change the zero distance to 30m? thank you for your time and I hope all is well, cheers..

Even after much research and reading, the manual, including the one listed here, I can't figure out how to create a profile for my ar15 with 5 different ammo ballistic profiles and another profile for my pellet gun with its 5 different pellets. Is there a video that focuses on this? The manual says nothing about this. When Im in the scope s zero section I see that I can choose A-Z and I know this has to be where I choose the associated letter for my ar15 vs my pellet gun but how to get the seperate ballistic data to each of the 26 letters/profiles? Im using dnt app, should i be using arkin optic ballistic app? Apparently its dnt now so I assumed the dnt app is the one to use, in it I see no choose rifle option like is explained in the pdf link you provide which uses arkin ballistic.

@RussDouglas222 something like that. I read Bruce's dnt pdf, I'm still unsure how to create separate profiles for my AR15 & Pellet Gun, each with up to 5 separate bullet profiles. The only place I've ever seen where I can access A-Z Letters is in the zero section in the scope. So am I to assume I choose a letter, let's say A then zero it etc then if I do it again having chosen Z then I will be able to save ballistic data for Pellet gun and sync it to A then the same for my saved ballistic data for the 5.56 and sync to Z ? I feel I'm missing something simple

In the my Zulus scope on System setting - Version - Ballistic Table Name is always empty. Even though I've synced my various Ballistic data for each bullet from the dnt app. I thought I read somewhere it won't do ballistic calculations if this area doesn't show a Ballistic table name, will the scope still be able to do ballistic calculations when I use the range finder without this field populated? If not, how do I get this field populated with a ballistic table? Thanks

Any suggestions on how to make the base of the arm more stable please share. (Mine wobbles up down from the base & the attachment arm doesn’t look as straight as yours). Can you tell me if the two plastic pieces that are stored inside the chair base are supposed to be left in place or taken out? Great video! I work in an industry that also uses heat treating during our maintenance and construction operations…very in-depth related to heat treating/annealing/normalizing. I can appreciate the fact that many people understand why annealing has value but, very few understand the science behind the process. That said, I think, for the benefit of nearly everyone (except you of course) if folks would start using the industry standard term of “normalizing” versus “softening”. I also love the fact that you demonstrated hardness testing…the proof behind the intended result. I’m physically disabled female (have always loved whitetail deer hunting & no, I don’t allow anyone to sit with me in the stand, they fidget & make too much noise lol) and got the bog death grip tripod first to support my rifle & sg but just purchased the bog death grip 360 chair hoping it will be easier for me to use in a ground blind or brushed in on the ground. My husband put it together for me but the arm that attaches under the chair is a bit wobbly so I’m trying to find any info about how that portion is supposed to be seated for maximum strength. where the arm attaches (he had a bit of trouble getting the tightness correct so that it would fit onto the chair bottom). Is the arm supposed to be stiff & not wobble up/down slightly? effect? Does your chair arm also have a bit of an up/down wobble effect or does my husband need to tighten the clasp a bit more before pushing the clip into place? Thank you!:)

The Ballistic Calculator is very precise, only user input variables affect accuracy 1. Precisely Zero at 25/30 Yards(or Meters) and Enter all your Variables to Create your Ballistic Table and Upload to Scope. 2. Re-Check your 25/30 Yards(or Meters) Zero, Tweak if Required. 3. Now Test at 12/15 Yards(or Meters), To adjust Up/Down POI(if required), Tweak the “Scope Height” in the Calculator in +/- 0.1mm increments 4. Now Test at 50/60 Yards(or Meters), To Adjust Up/Down POI(if required), Tweak the “Pellet BC” in Calculator in +/- 0.01 increments 5. @@derekwoods8199 Thanks for commenting Derek... can I just stir the pot a bit, by saying there's a TNC650R due out in 2025 with (I believe) a higher base mag for longer range use. Plus Bruce has offered his opinion between the two -which I pasted into the video description. 🤓 Thanks for watching, all the best, cheers. Russ

Different pellets to different airgun. You have to find right model and weight of pellet to each different airgun. I have airarms 410 tdr and crossman hollow point pellet and on 25m is 7-10mm hole but on different pellet was more bad. 😉. When I choice perfect single pellet my tdr was able to get 5mm target on single pellet on 25m. Thats the airarms and crossman right pellet quality 😉😎

If you fast fire the rifle the reg doesnt reset 100% so you will get a variation in fps/ftlb

What a mess, maybe you should've waited to familiarize yourself with the scopes first..

I bought one of these. The manual is not that specific on certain things. I do not see the level or inclinometer displays showing up on the screen. How do I activate them and get them to appear?

The only question left. Does Bruce have any Idea how AMP's annealer "Aztec mode" works??? because I can't figure it out.

this video makes the 335 look way better than the 635. I thought the 635 would be significantly sharper or higher res. Both look like awesome scopes though

@@redshiftcnc Interesting to read Bruce's comments I pasted into the video description, he zoomed both the 335R and 635R to the point where they both used the same number of pixels, and he preferred the 635R's image. I'm not 100% sure both scopes were on exactly the same settings when I recorded this, but I didn't have access to them for long. 🤷🏻‍♂️ If I get to compare them again I'll check settings first, then record a nighttime comparison too. 🤓 Thanks for watching, please share... and happy shooting. Cheers. Russ

@@RussDouglas222hello, could it be that there were different contrast settings? It seems like that.

DNT should consider bringing this larger IR lens to their Zulus monocular. I own both 312 and 520 Zulus without LRF and I feel the IR is still a bit wide, even with the narrowest setting. Larger IR lens should help.
@RussDouglas222
@RussDouglas222 Ай бұрын
I can't see them offering a different IR, as the beam can both be brightened either by increasing the power, or by rotating the lens to narrow/concentrate the beam. 🤷🏻‍♂ Thanks for watching, cheers. Russ
