This December it's "Au Revoir" to tedious layovers when travelling to Europe 🇪🇺 and Bonjour Paris as Air France 🇫🇷 said that they will start their direct nonstop flights between Manila and Paris Charles De Gaulle, it will be easier for us Schengen Visa holders who regularly travel to Europe also for our Filipinos living in Europe even French and European visitors, business people coming to the Philippines. It's been more than 20 years ago when Air France last flew to the Philippines and when they land in Manila as planned a big Content de te Revoir aux Philippines " that's Welcome Back to the Philippines in French.

Fun fact : Irosin Town seats on a Caldera of an extinct volcano the only caldera town in the Philippines and the only landlocked town in Sorsogon.

We stayed there in summer of 2023 for 3 days. We loved the different selections every morning. I tried every single Bicol dishes because I am not from Bicol and loved them. Aside from the Bicol dishes, I loved the ube pandesal.

Hi, thanks for watching! Each passenger gets one USB charging port. Sometimes the cord can get a little loose in the port so be sure to check your device to see if it’s charging. Hope this helps.

I think this is isolated with PAL. i took CX, JL and KE before and I didn't hear any clapping. This is just me but it is super tacky to do that.

Hello po! I think they have trips from Pilar, Sorsogon. I recommend taking a UV express next at the terminal next to SM Legazpi directly to Pilar, Sorsogon.

The biggest disappointment with PAL is that they don't have any flights to Europe as I'm a Schengen Visa holder, still have to go to other Asian or Middle Eastern airports to catch a connecting flight to Europe. I used to fly with Lufthansa during my past travels to Europe until they ceased flying to Manila in 2008, as of today there are no direct flights to Europe and many Filipinos are being let down even European tourists wanting to come to the Philippines but it's too burdensome they rather prefer going to Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and even Indonesia as there are direct flights to these countries than the Philippines. How would you feel about that?

Wow that’s surprising, I always thought that there were direct flights from Europe to the Philippines and vice versa. That’s really unfortunate for Filipinos in Europe wanting a convenient travel experience to the Philippines. It could probably be from the lack of passengers that would be worth PAL having direct flights, since nowadays the direct flights I’ve been on between Manila and Los Angeles have been packed. Tourism would definitely benefit from more convenient direct flights to the Philippines.

@@gorciano Recently read the article that Lufthansa is returning their direct flights to Manila either from Frankfurt or Munich if this materialize it's a great "Herzliche Willkommen Zurück zu Philippinen" as I speak German also Air France is planning to return to the Philippines from Paris Charles De Gaulle soon most likely to the New Manila International Airport in Bulacan which is 4x larger than NAIA when it becomes fully operational in 2027/28.

The majority of the time why flights depart late is that they're waiting on passengers and I guess they want to wait for those passengers than to remove their luggage. Plus the flight can't just leave without getting the permission from ATC. Every time that we leave from LAX to go to Manila I feel like we need to show up a day early from all of the walking just to get to the gate. Also I try not to eat at any airport because they charge so much to eat there I feel like I have to take out a bank loan just to pay for their food.

Once the New Manila International Airport opens, more North American airports get non-stop flights serving the Philippines at least on Philippine Airlines. The range of the A350 and 777-8 can handle non-stop flights to and from the southeastern United States most likely via Atlanta. It is long overdue for a non-stop flight between the capitals of the Philippines and the United States via NMIA and IAD. Philippine Airlines should also revive their non-stop European flights via NMIA.

Hi 👋 Is it safe to travel to LA at night? I will be visiting LA for the very first time and my flight arrives at 8pm + waiting for my luggage etc. What would be the safest and cheapest option from airport to hotel at night? Also which area would you suggest to stay at with easy access to public transport? Original plan was near Union Station but saw reviews that place is a bit sketchy. Any suggestions? Apologies for these questions 😂

It’s safe, but I’d still be vigilant if walking through sketchy areas. Some hotels may have complimentary pick up and drop off, but ride share apps might be the best way to go. I’m not entirely sure, but I don’t think it’s required as long as you follow the length of stay based on what’s stamped on your passport upon entry.

Back in September 2022,I was going to Bangkok thru JAL,in LAX btw and I was asked to provide a "return ticket" prior checking in for my flight,I didn't had 1 so I bought 1 and then I was able to check in...18 hours later I arrived in BKK and NOBODY asked me for a return ticket to ANYWHERE.
