I would have hoped the home owners would have gone to talk to their neighbours before having someone come to the work. That would avoid getting the worker to have to mediate something. Or maybe that’s extra income for him, I’d charge for negotiations for sure.

Wasting your time. You need to treat with 2% glyphosate in fall and once before frost. Look it up.

It's funny how some people see Japanese knotweed as a beneficial edible wild plant food, and other people see it as the end of the world.

It doesn't spread seeds because Japanese Knotweeds are all clones from the same infertile plant. It spreads through moving plant material or through its root system.

I’ve got a small infestation of about 4-5 shoots and none of them are big like those asparagus shaped ones you have in the video, I treated 5 years ago and this is their first reincarnation. Should I treat them immediately as they already have leaves and are 2/3 foot tall? Thanks!!

@@jennifercline6866injection individually works best for small patches or areas near other plants you don’t want to kill. For a large patch you’d be best spraying with round up in fall when they are flowering and again before first frost

Adjust your work practise to the new RootWave system. No vile chemicals needed, so it's safer and more effective. Japanese Knotweed very rarely returns. Herbicides are absolutely wretched and harm all life nearby kzbin.info/www/bejne/j6i7dJ-em5dpm9U An older friend had a little bit of Jap Knotweed in his garden and some muppet came by to spray it, it basically wiped out his lawn and surrounding wildflowers. Those chemicals are just ghastly, and you can never be sure that they won't get into groundwater either.
