Thank you Italy, for travelling all the way to play in the Pacific. It would have been difficult - I can't remember an Italian rugby team, ever playing in tropical conditions.

Only Italy and Scotland have been the only teams to come play in the Pacific. Wales, Ireland, England, France and South Africa need to come play here.

Wrong. Wales and France were there in the 90s, too. South Africa at least sent an A team in 1992. Ireland was there in the early or mid 2000s. All Blacks were there in 2015. Part of the problem is if Samoa is not consistently competitive overseas, a lot of the top teams will overlook us.

Tip for the TV folks - its best to position your camera on the side opposite to where the crowd are. It looked like an empty stadium !!

Should be more of these matches, but a very expensive trip. World Rugby needs to pony up more cash to support distant rugby nations. Lord knows they make enough from events like the World Cup.
